My 2 year old dog got her first grooming appointment done here. She smelled so good and looked amazing after. She seemed very happy with Eddie and apparently had no complaints.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of the groomer who was willing to take on our 16 year old nervous and blind dog after several other groomers were unable to deal with him. The male groomer did a fantastic job with our dog and we can't thank him enough!

They responded quickly and politely to my inquiry about booking an appointment for my very timid, 4yo rescue girl Evie. She came home today with her tail wagging and she looks fabulous — better than any groom we’ve tried in Markham. Will definitely be coming back to Pooches Parlour from now on.

Have been coming to NeighbourHound ( formerly pooches parlour) for a few years and absolutely love the service and care! Our pooch can be a handful when getting groomed but Eddie and his team are dog whisperers. Moved downtown but still make the trip up regularly. Nothing but good things to say to support this small business!

Eddie and Michelle are fantastic! I have a westie that requires a specific cut for the breed and he comes back looking like he’s ready for a dog show! Our pup had a commercial shoot the day before the grooming appointment that Eddie and Michelle were extra attentive so that he was camera ready. I live downtown but make the trek up to Markham just because they’re so great.

NeighbourHound is an absolutely amazing groomer. They take such great care of our dog which is a bit anxious at time. He comes home looking and smelling amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their pet groomed.

Nothing but positive things to say about Eddie and Neighbourhound. Fantastic customer service and does excellent grooming. Our little shi-poo could be tricky, but Eddie keeps him calm and looking good! I highly recommend!!

Pooches Parlour is professional and has respect to time. As a first time patron with my dog, they required me to fill in forms providing emergency information and preference of my dog ever needs to sell medical attention. They also required my dog's record of vaccinations so the dogs in the store are properly protected. They are clear about expectations of the patrons and the standards they hold themselves to as well.They asked about my dog's personality and anything to watch out for if any. Asked to provide reference picture of the desired groom. As well as having plaques of fur length in house so it's easy for me to refer to.They had great respect of my time and theirs by providing an update of when I can go pick up my pooch. My pooch received great feedback and that is nice to know.The overall groom of my dog was done well. No cuts and no significant unevenness. Even my mother complimented how well the feet were done.Pooches Parlour will be the regular groomer I go back to for sure.

I take my dog Logan to have his nails trimmed and grooming. Outstanding service. He comes out fresh as a baby. Would take him back again. Food and dog food and toys choices are excellent

Amazing groomer. Took my 18 month old Golden Retirever here for a full groom session yesterday. Met Eddie, who explained what he recommends for Neo for the groom session. He was exceptionally friendly and immediately took to Neo. Tho session took about 2 hours. Neo was groomed perfectly, we had requested that his haircut be minimal as we like to keep him looking natural. Attention to detail was excellent. His paw pads were trimmed, nails clipped, sanitary areas shaved and the right amount of tidying up everywhere else. The bath and dry is much better than the one he gets at PetSmart. Overall we’re very happy with the work. We’ll surely be back soon. Thanks Eddie and keep up the great work.
