Queens Learning Network

Queens Learning Network | Every year the Queens Learning Network is looking for new and innovative ways to teach the fundamentals put into place by the Department of Labour and Advanced Education, and make it more interesting for the learner to pursue an education. The Queens Learning Network implements learning technologies, through the use of computers with internet, educational software, and multimedia. Some of our activities have included: a community garden maintained by the faculty and students of the school, presentations and audio-visual projects implemented by students, Science Fairs, class trips, as well as plays and artistic medium. We believe these extra-curricular activities are a healthy and productive way to instill the values and principals laid out in the educational text books. Learning is different for everyone, and we believe the classroom should reflect this. Students should have the choice of being involved in a variety of different activities.
