Way too expensive for food that’s just decent. Wouldn’t recommend, San José has better food at better prices. If you want to expend 12$ - 16$ look for a nicer place.

I went there for a carryout , I took a plate of griot with macaroni. There is also fried plantains , sauce and “Pikliz” (Haitian Pickled vegetable) that come with the plate . They give a good amount of rice and meat for 12$ . I personally did not like the macaroni and the sauce had a strong smell maybe I picked the wrong day . The rice is good and there is a fair amount of it . There is FAT on the pork which is good , if you like fatty pieces i would recommend .The interior need some fix , the ac does not seem to work . They are very friendly , aslo they only take CASH . I would go again just for the “fatty pieces”.

Barely to no meat in the legumes plate. Pikliz is made with cayenne pepper and no hot pepper at all. Cheap on plantain. Taste is over all alright.

This place is a hidden gem. Yes service is slow and the sit down area isn't the best, but wow was the food good. My friend and I got a large griot which was huge and delicious. For the price, it was totally worth it. Owner was very kind too. We'll be coming back for sure.

Has to be the best in the area, all their plates are just top, chicken is big and tender, gryiot is tender not rock solid like some places. a go to spot!

Probably caught them on an off day because the griot was really dry . Sad because flavor was great. Everything was else good . 6.9/10

Staff friendly besides one. Food always smells weird but it’s better than most Haitian restaurant in Laval. I had a few bad experiences with the food. You can only hope that ur plate won’t be full or fat instead of meat. Hit or miss.
