Training with Tyson
I've been working with Tyson for almost 2-years. He has been absolutely fantastic. He plans out great work-outs; I feel stronger and have kept off the weight. I had a knee injury a few years ago and never thought the pain would go away. He put together a training plan that has helped me so much, that the pain is a distant memory.

This review is long over due as I have been training with Tyson two times a week consistently for three years. Rave review alert! I have a great deal of respect for him and his work ethic. I have worked towards, and maintained more personal strength and fitness than I have ever attained in my life because of his knowledge, skill and his motivation tactics in our training sessions. Training with Tyson has been transformational for me. He is, from my perspective, the best coach in Kingston. He will structure a unique program that is individual to you and your abilities and your goals. He is motivated to provide outstanding services to all his clients. Join his group fitness classes or try a few sessions first with a friend or two. I attend every session with my husband who has been training with Tyson for over five years now. Tyson, thank you for everything, seriously, you are an incredible person and coach. Much respect.

Training with Tyson
When I started in one of Tyson's training for those 50+ small group sessions I was only planning to do it for a month or two and then go back to old gym, but I am still here 7 months later. I feel stronger and can do things I could NEVER do. Tyson is attentive and pushes us just the right amount to make progress safely and I enjoy the comraderie he encourages in the group. We laugh together even when sweating our butts off!

Tyson is amazing. I had always wanted to do strength training but felt intimidated by the process. Tyson was very welcoming and not intimidating at all. We started slow and measured progress as we went along. I cannot believe the difference from where I was to where I am today. Night and day. Tyson shares in your success applauds your improvements. From starting as a beginner and needing constant instruction to now where we are tweaking each set for improvements it has been a wonderful journey. You cannot go wrong working with Tyson.

Nothing but positive things to say about Tyson. He's been knowledgable, challenging, driven, and can tell he loves what he does. I started training with him a year ago, and now my partner and I are both trained by him. He also extends his services online to help with diet and is very accessible. great trainer, better person. 5 stars.

Training with Tyson
It’s hard training. It’s fun training. Most importantly, I have seen results. While hiking recently on a fairly tough trail in Portugal I started to fall & as I was sliding down the hill, I realized I was just doing a perfectly deep squat asTyson had trained us to do. I was able to propel myself quickly back up into a standing position. I’m certain that my training prevented a serious fall and a potential injury. That’s the goal as we age, right?

Tyson Montgomery as a trainer? first-rateFirst: Tyson, himself, is a pleasant, warm person with a calm manner which comes from a quiet depth of experience and expertise. And, thank goodness, he has a fine sense of humour.Second: Training never seems excessive. Tyson watches everything!! and unobtrusively modifies exercises to fit the personal level and needs of his clients. Although the exercises may not be excessive, they are never easy. There is no slacking off with Tyson. And, at the end of a series of sessions, it can be quite a surprise to realise how much progress has been achieved .. almost unconsciously.Lastly: working with Tyson has a strange, serendipitous benefit. In some inexplicable way, at the end of a series of sessions, one feels better about one’s whole self all around.

Tyson? Tyson Montgomery? The man... The myth... The Legend.Tyson is incredible. Been seeing him for almost a year and the difference in strength gains, muscle mass, and body composition have been amazing. Working around previous injuries, the Hurty Thirties, and my own stubbornness, Tyson has been so insightful and encouraging through sharing his knowledge and passion with me and others. He makes workouts fun, educational and tailored to my needs. Can't recommend him enough. Great trainer and even better human.

He is very knowledgeable on how to train people with injuries. If something is affecting you, he is able to identify the problem and give suggestions on how to do the exercise without pain. Tyson is very encouraging and provides positive feedback.It had been two years since I had worked out and was very tentative on trying a class. I have absolutely no regrets just inches lost.If you want to have fun and workout at your own pace, please try a workout program with Tyson.
