I had my external hard drive assessed at another computer business and I was told that I needed Hardware Recovery" and I was quoted a price of $750-$1000. I contacted WeRecoverData to get a second opinion. I paid the assessment fee and sent my hard drive to them. They quoted me a price of $1850 plus tax

I was using my old laptop's 1TB HDD as an external drive using SATA cable but by constantly disconnecting without safely removing the device the drive became inaccessible.
