The Royal Tandoor
I would say this place is good all around but the food can be inconsistent and not the flavour you recognize and love when you return again. The service seems to always be a little disorganized with the kitchen, might just be me but I went before and got the same thing and I'm a little disappointed with it today. However they have been delicious before the chef and cooks do make good food, if only the food during the out was as good as dine in.

My roommate and I tried to go to a local pub for some late night food and drinks. Unfortunately, the place we tried to go to was closed and so luckily for us we decided to walk into this lovely establishment. Do not judge a book by its cover, this little hole in the wall of an Indian restaurant gave us an amazing experience. The service was first class as our server Bhanu gave us great recommendations for food, was very timely with his service, and made us feel at home. 10/10 experience and will be coming back soon. Cheers!

I ordered chicken Karachi and they gave me butter chicken. It was too late by the time I noticed and I couldn't drive back to return it. The butter chicken was blant and too sweet it tastes as if the sauce was made days ago and frozen.On top of that they initially only put 1 bread while I paid for 3. However they did give me the remaining 2 breads Upton request while I was at the restaurant.Would not recommend this place to anyone else nor would I ever eat here again.

My family had been ordering take out here since the pandemic started. The quality of food was on and off. It can really be good on occasions and also bad. But the good usually outweighs the cons. I was extremely disappointed with the food quality today. We ordered bhindi masala, aloo gobi, veggie vindaloo, veggie khorma and butter chicken. It tasted funny, old and over cooked. The okra /ladyfingers was extremely salty and spicy when we told them very, very mild. I wish we dined in and we probably would have received better food and given us fresh food. It looked like leftovers. All the veggies were disintegrating. I kid you not. We usually do not have leftovers but today there were plenty of it. I would think twice in ordering food here again after this unfortunate experience. The quality just went downhill. The price doesn’t justify the flavours. Wasted $$ Check out the photos.

I ordered a simple daal soup. They do not offer any complimentary stuff no rice or anything. The amount was too small. I am little disappointed paid $9.64 for this.

Visiting Royal Tandoor was one of the best experiences eating out in a long time.The food was hot, full of flavourful, and timely served.Our server Bhanu was very attentive and gave us amazing drink and food suggestions.We will definitely be back many times again.I couldn't recommend enough that you try this hidden gem of a restaurant.

My family and I came to Victoria for celebrating Canada Day and order food from here. Food was just okay (no flavour) but the amount of colour they add to food was too much. Need to focus on food quality than the presentation.

I ordered take out for this location. They are pretty quick and probably was less than 20 minutes to pick up. I ordered plain Naan and lamb Rogan Josh.The Naan was delicious and tasted great by itself. 3 large pieces for $3 was well worth it.The lamb was piping hot and very flavourful. The sauce complemented the rice well. The lamb wasn't as tender as I would like it to be but it could gave been based on the cut too.

I’ve been both a deliverer picking up here and a guest. Everytime is fantastic with great customer service, amazing food. Bhanu is a wonderful host. I highly recommend stopping here or ordering

High quality restaurant. I have been ordering for a few months now and the food and the service have always been perfect.Great value for the price. 10/10 Highly recommended to everyone.
