The Perfect View

My wife and I booked our wedding here in 2020... then the pandemic happened. Patrick worked with us to reschedule and ensured us that the cost would remain the same; working with him was great!The venue is amazing! Awesome views, and the tent, seating, plates, cutlery, audio system, glassware, tablecloths...coffee mugs etc etc is included! Patrick and his staff work hard to make sure everything leading up to and during the event is taken care of. It really is a no-stress venue and we would recommend the Perfect View to anyone.

Pros: The wedding venue is gorgeous, there's no doubt about it! The views are incredible (you can see the Toronto skyline perfectly) and the tents are huge enough to social distance guests. The bridal suite/prep room is very large, has lots of seating and a huge floor length mirror. The outdoors washrooms were kept very clean and nice as well. Patrick was always very friendly over the phone and in person.Cons: Communication was scarce. The entire time we had only worked/communicated with Patrick, but on the day of the wedding, his wife had personal preference concerns about our vendors that we had booked and communicated since day 1 and was bothering the groom minutes before the ceremony started. Poor professionalism from a wedding venue.(Originally planned for a 180 person wedding, due to covid we only had a 90 person wedding as it was all outdoors)

Breathtaking, one of a kind view. Highly recommend having your wedding here. The owners are super kind and attentive.

You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location to have a wedding. The tents provided by the venue are high quality with lighting and floors. Tons of space and a great dance floor. The owners are very welcoming and will do their very best to help make the wedding day be truly memorable. They are very warm and friendly. The packages are very well priced, and I highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic, scenic wedding.

I will start off by saying I did not have my wedding at The Perfect View. My fiance and I were really hoping to book this place because it is a gorgeous location, but the communication was a deal breaker!So to start, I called Patrick to book a tour of the venue, he told me to call and confirm. The day of the appointment I called to confirm, he didn’t answer so I left a message. We show up on time and he was a no show. He texts later that night apologizing. I brush it off and book another tour for the following week.When we meet Patrick and his wife, they seem lovely in person. I called Patrick about a week later to say we are ready to book with them! He confirmed that the date was available and requested we e-transfer the deposit and then he would send over the contract.I email him and ask if he would send the contract before I give the deposit (I feel like a reasonable request). No response. I email the next week, no response. We waited about 2 weeks and then gave him a call. He answers the phone, and we provide an email to send the contract to. We wait a week, nothing. We text him reminding him, and again no response!! We tried to get in touch with him 4 times to try and sign this contract and give him money!!! Additionally, whenever we called him, he seemed annoyed as if we were being a bother. If this is the kind of poor communication received when trying to book, I cannot imagine what it would be like to plan a wedding!!We were so excited to have our wedding at the Perfect View, and its such a shame it was spoiled due to the venue being so poorly managed.

Do not book!!Due to the Covid 19 pandemic my fiancee and I had to reschedule our wedding scheduled on August 2020. We contacted Patrick to see what our options were. At this point we had already paid a $500 deposit.I had to email three times and text him over a two week period to get any sort of response. When I finally did, he gave me two options: either have it in 2020 or move to 2021 to a date he chooses due to limited availability AND pay an extra $500. I asked about 2022 and he said that we would have to pay additional $200 on top of the extra $500 - so we would have to essentially pay $700 to move our date.Patrick Gabriel, the owner of this venue is beyond greedy and unprofessional.He is clearly taking advantage of people in this tough time. He even bragged to me on the phone about how he is “financially fine” since he owns a medical supply company.Completely unacceptable and so disheartening.Do not book this venue.**Edited to add response to owner's response**The owner of the venue is outright dishonest. In a phone call, he said the price would go up by $700 total if we were to re-book for 2022: An extra $500 for 2021, along with an additional $200 for $2022 - this adds up to $700.I'm sorry if you don't understand that people cannot have their weddings in 2020, I am sure you know that there is a pandemic going around, making it impossible for guests to fly in, let alone congregate in large groups.Your complete lack of empathy and lack of understanding is astounding. You are unresponsive, you obviously don't care about anything but making money off of this terrible situation. Not to mention, you hung up on my fiance when he called you to discuss the matter.Your bottom line is obviously way more important to you than the people who have chosen to celebrate their wedding day at your venue. This is proven by the fact that you respond to an honest review left on Google and wedding wire in less than 24 hours, when you cannot even be bothered to respond to me by email and text when I was trying to reschedule my wedding day.I will reiterate my previous sentiment - you are clearly taking advantage of people who have no choice but to reschedule their wedding. Every other vendor has been understanding, empathetic, and has honored the price we hired them at. What you are doing is completely unacceptable, and I hope that no other couples fall victim to your greed.- MT

My now wife and I had our wedding at The Perfect View, a few weekends ago.First of all, the name of the venue says it all! The view is beautiful! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the view and location.Patrick and his wife, Pamela, were exceptional! They were so helpful, kind and polite. You could tell that they just wanted us to have a good time on our special day!I didn’t have batteries for my decor, and Patrick was kind enough to go into his house and get some for me !!If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxed, simple wedding, this is the place for you! I believe this event is the perfect place for your wedding and you will not be disappointed!! Do remember it is an outdoor wedding. So if not looking for something that’s outdoors and rustic with a beautiful nature feel look elsewhere ( we loved it for its natural look)Very Affordable and lots included, pretty much a one stop shop!!!Again can’t thank both you Patrick and your wife for the best time we could have for our wedding !!!

We had an amazing wedding at The Perfect View on Aug 20th 2022. Thanks to Patrick and his wife for helping put together our amazing wedding. Everything came together and the view amazed our guests. This is an ideal spot for your plan your own outdoor wedding!

A beautiful spot!I am considering doing my future proposal here. The view is uncomparable and fairly discreet. Hidden gem for sure. Highly Recommend.

We got married there 2 days ago, and had the best time ever!! Everything was perfect!! The location is beautiful, the views were amazing!Patrick and his wife were amazing, they went above and beyond to accommodate us, everything about planning our wedding here was easy and great! I would recommend it to anyone, and i would do it all over again at this same place!! Do not listen to the bad reviews!!Thank you Patrick and Pamela !!
