Still no Response from the PARK OWNERS-Sept 11/20 have registered a complaint with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU -BUYER BEWARE- AUG 4/20 STILL NO RESPONSE -July 11/20 viewed trailers for sale at Fairview Trailer Park. with the park manager. Was advised that what we saw at the trailer was included in the price. Made a verbal offer with a procession date of July 18/20.Park manager contacted us with a counter offer from the Sellers later the same day. Called park manager Sunday July 12 to accept the offer and to ask about the location of patio furniture cushions. She said she would contact the owners and my next step was to send a $1,000.00 deposit to her personal email address which I did. I then sent the park manager an email Tuesday asking for the Sellers names so that I could get a bank draft for the outstanding balance on the trailer. No response so I called Wednesday July 15 at 3.30 and spoke with the park manager who provided me with their names. I then confirmed that we would be coming Saturday July 18 as agreed and be bringing the bank draft for payment and would be staying the night at the trailer. The park manager said this may not be possible as the trailer owner is working overtime and may not be able to remove their personal items from the trailer by Saturday.Then she said that the owners were not including the patio furniture with the trailer and if the park managers husband had told us it was he was mistaken..We as Purchasers entered into this deal with clear expectations, purchase price , everything we saw at trailer was included and a possession date.. The park managers are now refusing to return our deposit and are not replying to emails.

We bought an existing trailer inside of the park in March 2019, excited to be able to create new relationships and family memories for the years to come. Our first encounter was one of negativity and judgement with the residents on the North side of the park. We found out, there was a huge shift in management as the existing park manager was leaving and had been accused by a group of these residents of many bad things. Turns out that the people spreading the poison throughout the park were actually some of the most dangerous people in there as they had no regard for anything but their causes, opinion and lies they were cramming down your throat by the hour. Our first walk we met the Social Committee director who tried to pressure us into paying the Social Dues right on the spot- we asked what it was for, what happened where the money went- no one could answer us... we very kindly said thanks and decided that we would hold off from paying this year till we saw what things were all about! Let;s just say, that didn't go over well! We would respectfully decline this joining 4 more times before we were actually shunned for not joining, ignored and basically shamed for not participating. I will add, we paid for every event we attended, full price and had no qualms about it. And every event we went to... we were treated as if we had a Scarlet Letter painted on our shirts. It didn't help that we had made friends with a group of longtime campers who had already had their own dealings with the Social Committee and the residents who supported it. It became very clear that we were under attack as a group at this pointI have never met the owners and after I and my husband were accused of being drunks, trouble makers and targeted by the new park" managers who happened to be life long best friends with the influential north side group it became clear we were being targeted and bullied for no reason. I wrote a letter to the owners asking for their interjection to try and redirect the negative course of action being taken before things escalated and innocent people got hurt as people were getting vicious and out of control.I am not even a drinker

My family had been in the park for 20+ years. My husband and I had been residents for 11 years. We had always gotten along with all of the previous mangers. We have also had gatherings in our home in the winter months which we have several park residents attend; these included our new neighbors at the end of 2018 and into 2019 season.New Managers stared in 2017 and it became very obvious that some of the residents did not click with them and if you did help or otherwise enjoy the company of these managers you were not in “their group”. This made a division in the park and for very awkward situations.All the “parks” problems were blamed on these managers, but the tensions and real problems continued after they quit.Again new managers started in 2019. These managers labeled our group of residents “the gang” and a prejudice view started.One of the recreation committee representatives approached me for my $50.00 fee for the upcoming season 2019. I was not interested in spending time at some of the events so I asked if my fee could be directed to the firework display at the end of the season. Within less than ½ hour of paying my fees, I was confronted on my own site by two recreation committee representatives and asked “what was my problem”. I explained that the events were not something I was interested in participating, and the events were scaled back. While my husband was volunteering his time to help install the docks at the park, several park residents including our new neighbor approached him and said he should check on me and see what was happening on our site.The conversation ended with the recreation committee representative saying “are we good now?” and “tell your friends its ok to pay”I was approached once more and asked if my fees could be used in any manor the recreation committee felt fit. I finally agreed and attended the events as I paid for them. It became very obvious that an exaggerated version of the conversation witnessed by other park residents and included our new neighbors had spread throughout the park and I was very uncomfortable at most events.The firework display was held on the Labour Day weekend and I contributed another $40.00 to this event.One private event which we were invited was held on the street in particular that all the recreation committee representatives have sites and was on the same weekend. I had one of the recreation committee representatives stand directly in front of me blocking my view of the event. It became clear I was not welcome. My husband approached this person and made them aware we were leaving this event. Again the recreation committee representative responded with “what is your problem now.”My husband and I were again for the third time confronted on our own site by someone who did not witness this, but happened to be married to the recreation committee representative.After this confrontation, residents including our new neighbors (who up until that day were still considered friends) turned on us and submitted letters to the owners of the park complaining about “our gang” which also included other long time residents.I have never spoken to the owners of the Park, I was told there would be a meeting with them. Before the scheduled meeting was to take place, I was sent an email stating that my contract would not be renewed. I was devastated that the owners took the word of the recreation committee representatives with their own agenda and the new neighbors (who had made false allegations against other park residents to the extreme that they said the police were involved).In the span of April 15th 2019 to September 2nd 2019, according to the accusations provided in these letters (I have never seen or been given the chance to defend, which everyone has the right to.) I am now called a bully, a drunk and cancer to the park. (This is being posted over the internet by people I have never met.)

We had been residents of Fairview for 14 years and had enjoyed our stay until 2019 until new managers came in. We had put up with an owner of the park putting a trailer behind ours, and enjoying himself partying until 4 in the morning partying and even telling the manager of the park to leave him alone as he owns this park and can do what he wants. We put up with the bullying tactics of the Rec Committee representatives because we did not pay our rec fees this year. Even to the point that I was pushed at an event because I didn’t follow her wishes, we were accosted at events because we didn’t want to follow her lead. New managers came into the park and on several occasions the comment was made by friends of theirs in park that people had to be nice to them or they would be kicked out. We have watched people being carried back to their trailers because they were so drunk and could not walk after partying with the managers and their friends. We were told that we are the cancer of the park because we did not confirm with their ideals . Needless to say we along with others were told that our contracts were not being renewed because we didn’t bow to the “Old Boys Club “ of Fairview. The stench of raw sewage is so bad that it is impossible to walk down the road to the beautiful bay without gagging, we had lost so much food in our fridge because there is electrical issues causing the hydro to constantly going out. You might ask why we put up with this for so may years? Because of the beautiful bay is our reason. The new managers would start with the harrassment when we arrived on a Friday night and would not let up until we left on Sunday, it was to the point that we asked ourselves why are we paying $4000.00 plus to be insulted and harassed. Been there over 20 years and have personally only had an issue with the previous managers. They are gone now and park is being cleaned up again. Good food in the store and the managers are always there if you need anything. They are approachable. Remember everyone has off days. It's nice to see the music is quieted down by 11-1115 this past year, not like the 3 years before. It is a great park and most people are friendly. Give the park a try you won't regret it we haven't

Set up our trailer in this park April 2019. Spent a lot of time and money cleaning up site, building a new ground level pressure treated deck and a shed that conformed to what park wanted. The managers at the tim (Chris and Lorna) were absolutely no problem. Anybody who claims they were are full of it . Park seemed good until the drunks showed up. Apparently Chris and Lorna got tired of fighting the old time establishment and quit, leaving the very good friend of the problem children managing the park. They talked a good talk but ended up looking the other way when problems arose. This park is a park for drunks. More people walking around park with alcohol in their hand than not. There are no rules enforced her. No other park would allow what goes on here If you have children or grandkids THIS IS NOT THE PARK YOU WANT TO BE IN. If you are a partier with no consideration for others this park will welcome you with open arms ! BYOB !!!! I also noticed numerous electrical safety violations, excessively low water pressure, several power outages and stink from the septic systems. Imagine what it would be like when the park was in full swing! We pulled our trailer out after two months and are glad we did. WHAT A DUMP. No wonder that have such a high turnover. Just park your trailer at the local landfill, it’ll smell better and be way more quiet!

UPDATE. I no longer own a trailer in this park. There are new owners and new managers since I sold my trailer. This review was entirely based on the previous owners and managers. I will leave the remaining comments because this is how things were when I left.Safe, clean and beautiful. The managers are part of the park community and care about the place as much as the resident campers. This is my second season and I enjoy every day I spend here.Friendly people and well maintained campers and sites for the most part. There were some problems in previous years which may be reflected in some of the comments but as a professional person and a family man and one who's waited 2 years to make a comment, Fairview Trailer Park is great. Everything I expected and hoped for when I chose the park.

As a tenant of this park for nearly 20 years, the owners didn't even know my name except to cash my checks. Constant lies being told by the biggest" residents in the park eventually made it to the owners ears. Without checking the validity of these claims made by some of the biggest drunks in the park
