Vic West Skatepark
Really nice park with good transitions and lots of fun lines. I've been coming here for 25 years, since it was just a tiny park, and now come here with my son. We regularly make the drive in from Sooke for a seasion.Other kids are always really nice and I never see any of the undesirable types that used to be a fixture at all skate parks when I was young. Great spot for the whole family.

Vic West Skatepark
One of the best skateparks I have ever been to. The community is often kind, with people giving help with tricks, and helping new riders. The bowl section of the park is very nice for beginners all the way to advanced, with your creativity being the limit! The main ‘island’ part of the park is nice for beginners who want to ride around, the ‘teacup’ is a amazing place for people doing intermediate tricks, and this park is overall great, with something for everybody! Vic West Skatepark
Spanning an area of 35,000 sq feet, Vic West Skatepark is one of the biggest in British Columbia. It includes a variety of street obstacle including rails of different sizes, stairs etc. A great place to unwind and refine those skating skills.

Great skatepark and very supportive, all of the “good skaters” are super nice and welcoming which is not the case for every skatepark. I’ve enjoyed picking the hobby back up here as I move into my 30s

It's a public space, so all walks of life go through. Most a super decent and supportive. Good weather = busy.

Cool skatepark with good vibes! If you like skating transition around 7 feet high or less this is the place to go! Still has enough to keep a street skater entertained. Cool mix of 2000s era and modern designed skatepark.

Great skate park!!! Always a busy spot anytime of year but with its size you can still move around pretty freely. Basketball nets right beside it and a fenced in dog park is super close as well as public washrooms. Booster Juice and Save on Foods are within a short walk for a cold drink. There is a water fountain here though which works.

Vic West Skatepark
Was a great place to skateboard until the scooter became popular. Now you can basically only skate there when kids are in school otherwise there's too many kids on scooters who don't pay attention to where they're going and end up causing accidents. Or parents thinking it's a great place for their small child to practice riding their bike in the middle of the park on an already busy day and then sitting on the benches/ledges literally made for skating on.
