The Video describes the law regarding common law spouses and homestead rights in Manitoba.David describes a common law spouse rights to be absolute. This is simply not true. A common-law spouse is not entitled to receive the value of the other spouses’s property by right.Please do a little more research and correct your video. Or take that video down while you looking into the matter a little more.Kind Regards
