The instructors at Free Spirit Dogs are the BEST!! They are SO knowledgeable and patient with all of their clients and have made spending time with my dogs not only FUN, but they have also given me the chance to build connection with my dogs like no other activity we do together. I have two large breed dogs that in all honesty had WAY more energy than I knew what to do with prior to starting agility classes at Free Spirit. And now, since taking these agility classes, both of my dogs have become more focused on me as their leader and are much calmer in everyday situations. Most of all, taking classes at the Free Spirit arena has given me the opportunity to learn how to work with my dogs in a new, creative way. My dogs are excited to go to class every week and it brings me so much joy to know that they enjoy the experience as much as I do. If you're looking for a community of supportive, kind, and well-rounded dog owners, the Free Spirit Dogs family will welcome you with open arms!

The trainers are pleasant and the facility is modern. However, $200 for 2 hours of group training is not value for money. Half the time was spent waiting for our turn while watching the other participants. There were 3 trainers and a huge space - 2 or even 3 dogs at a time could have been trained simultaneously. An expensive outing for a few basic drills. Hopefully, the owners will learn as they go as this place has potential.

I highly recommend Free Spirit Dogs for all dog owners. Hanna and Amanda are amazing skilled and supportive trainers. They are very knowledgeable and generous with their support and information. We adopted our puppy, Piper, in June 2018. She is a German Shepard cross and at the time she was a healthy mix of Cute and Crazy. Hanna spend extra time with us teaching things like impulse control and how to create an environment that would encourage better behavior in piper.We met Hanna and Amanda at an event at our local dog park and won free puppy classes.Upon registering, I was given the opportunity to upgrade to the puppy agility program and we got started as soon as Piper turned 6 months old.I admit that in the beginning, it was fun, but very frustrating because Piper was a wild Child" and all she wanted to do was play with the other dogs and steal their treats. It took two of us to handle her in the classes

Do you have a cuddly doodle who likes to have fun? Well I do and the beginner agility class at Free Spirit Dogs was perfect for her. Hannah and Amanda are talented and caring trainers who provided Pippa and me with a class that was very fun while introducing us to the world of agility. The facility is fantastic with a matted floor that was very nice to train on. It is divided into two sections which allowed Pippa to be off leash when it was her turn on the agility equipment and then to relax on the other side afterwards. I loved being able to watch the other dogs too. I was lucky to have a very nice group of dogs and their owners in our beginner agility class. Big, small, feisty, shy, talkative or spunky like Pippa....all the dogs made incredible progress in just six weeks. I highly recommend Free Spirit Dogs.

Hannah is a very kind, clear and caring instructor. With dog agility, each dog is unique and Hannah is very quick to adapt in order to teach the handler the best way to handle your dog. My dog Loki is one of the smallest dogs I’ve seen around agility trials (she’s a 10 pound Terrier Surprise), and Hannah has helped me immensely. The new facility is amazing! The matted flooring is terrific as it provides the dogs with the ability to grip for faster runs. Amanda is awesome too; I haven’t had the opportunity for her to teach me yet.

Hannah and Amanda are absolutely fabulous. They teach in a way that is easy to understand and they set you and your dog up for success. While they specialize in agility training, the skills and connection with your dog translate into everyday life. Agility with Free Spirit has become my new addiction!

Free Spirit Dogs is an amazing facility to bring your dog to whether you’re looking to just have some fun and bond with your dog, or if you’re looking to get competitive with the sport. Hannah and all of the other coaches are so knowledgeable and kind.My dog & I really enjoy the mental and physical challenge that agility has to offer, I’m so glad I found Free Spirit Dogs, it was destiny. Could not recommend them enough!!

Fergus always has a great time training with Amanda and Hannah! He is in his second set of classes for agility and he has shown so much improvement. His confidence soared and he makes me proud every class. Amanda is very skilled at explaining different approaches to helping your best friend and yourself succeed. We have small and big dogs in our class. This is an all breed sport!

Hannah and Amanda are amazing coaches...if they can teach this old dog some new tricks, you know they're good!My dog though? She loves agility and took to it immediately!If you live in the Leduc area and want to have a more connected bond with your dog, this is the activity to start.And besides, it's a lot of fun!

My K-9 partner Ivy and I love taking classes at Free Spirit Dogs. We have known the founder and owner Hannah, for three years, she trained Ivy and I in our puppy classes and we loved working with her so much that we followed her to her new business. Hannah is very knowledgeable and supportive of helping you grow your relationship with your dog. Hannah takes a relaxed professional approach to her craft of dog training and is always improving herself to pass on that knowledge to her students. I am getting a second dog and I can’t wait to take him to work with Hannah and get us off on the right foot! The new location of her business is very convenient and well worth the short drive down Highway 2 from Edmonton. I love her new space, it is a comfortable size, and she has the agility arena blocked off with blinds so that dogs waiting in the wings can be more relaxed and not get excited while watching their class mates run. Ivy and I highly recommend Free Spirit Dogs for any and all dogs and their human partners!
