Friendly, professional, well equipped movers.The A team Alexa and Alex brought an upright grand piano from my mother-in-law's house to ours. They dropped it off and set it up in no time flat. Super job.Would totally recommend them to do the same for you.

I have moved 20 times previous to this move. NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! Have these people move you if you are a senior woman, who seems to be handling all the details of the move. THEY RIPPED ME OFF ROYALLY. I had my husband sent to the new residence by patient transport, at 9:30a.m. The truck arrived after that, which was fine. We had 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 sewing room and patio furniture. That was all…….they packed the truck 6’ high. This truck would hold 3 households as we had the same size truck bring us back from Vancouver with 2 other household in the same truck.. This company had to make 2 trips 20 min, down the road and charged me $2600.00. I could not protest, they already had my credit card on file. This move took from 9:45 a.m. to 12.30.a.m. 16 hours. Criminal. Totally unnecessary, if they had packed the truck professionally. They saw my situation and took me. One of my painting’s frame was chipped badly, the owner said he would take it back to his shop and repair it with wood putty. Really! That was March 2021, I have not heard from this company since. It makes me very upset that these people can get away with this kind of treatment. If you are reading this review, I explore you not to have this company move you. Hind sight I should have had my lawyer look into their dealings, in my case, but my husband was bed ridden and since has passed.

They took great care into packing and moving everything. I was nervous about moving my piano as I haven’t done it before and they did it with care and ease. Highly recommended! Definitely will call them once it’s time to move again.

Hired to move a lathe from my work to my home. It is a very heavy and awkward piece of machinery. The made moving it look effortless. I found them to be very professional and very helpful. Thanks for the excellent job.Vince

We were looking for movers immediately, and I noticed you can phone them 24/7. So, last Sunday evening at around 7:40, I called Family Movers and surprisingly, Al answered. I told him we needed a bulky 170 lb treadmill moved upstairs--he had just completed a similar request an hour earlier! Both Al and his assistant showed up within the hour, and moved our treadmill upstairs. They were prompt, professional, careful and trustworthy. We would call them again in a heartbeat...

I had Family Movers move me from London to St. Thomas. They were very efficient, packed up some fragile items for me, hence no breakage. The owner and a female employee were very polite, worked very hard and fast and were totally organized. Family Movers were great. After a bad experience with another mover, the folks at Family Movers were a refreshing change. They were attentive, pleasant and prompt in moving my things from Ontario to Prince Edward Island. Would recommend any time.

After purchasing a motorized recliner loveseat on Market Place for our daughter, we needed to move it from a basement in the extreme northwest of the city to another basement in the east end. We knew it was a small job, but the loveseat base is quite heavy, and we needed help. On a Thursday, we contacted 3 of the larger moving companies. One had no interest at all and the other two would not commit to a pickup time (difficult for the vendor) and had a minimum time cost that was almost the value of item itself. On the Friday, we saw a small ad for Family Movers in the new London Yellow Pages book. We called and Al provided a reasonable quote and suggested a time for the Saturday evening. After checking with the vendor, we settled on Sunday afternoon for the pickup. Al and his assistant arrived on the Sunday, disassembled the loveseat, took it up the stairs, drove across town to our daughter’s house, took it into the basement, and got it all setup. And they moved the old loveseat up the stairs for future disposal. We paid the agreed amount and Job Done! No muss, no fuss. A great service we will certainly use again.
