We highly recommend My Place Home Care. The owner Kumar sets the tone for the company by treating his clients like family. He takes the time to understand the family situation and to match the staff he provides to the family's needs. He chooses his staff carefully and they are excellent. They are all equipped with a reporting app which they update daily which allows the family to review any significant occurrences online. Can't ask for better service.

After an unfortunate incident, my mother required fulltime care. For several weeks I had the pleasure of dealing with Kumar Saha the owner of My Place Home Care and his very capable staff of PSW's ( Personal Support Workers ). What could have been a very stressful time became very manageable. Kumar stayed in constant contact with me at all times to confirm what services I required. I found his support workers prompt, knowledgeable, polite, courteous and above all compassionate. Several of Kumar's support workers went above and beyond to make sure that my mother was being well taken care of and I have nothing but the highest regards for his entire staff. I would not hesitate to recommend My Place Home Care should you have the need for the services they offer.

Kumar and his team have been an incredible source of support, information and advice as we navigated finding the care that we needed for my mother and father. They accommodated our changing needs and schedules ensuring that my parents were well looked after. The caregivers have become like family and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is trying to find compassionate, trustworthy and caring help for their aging parents….I will always be thankful that I found them.

I met with the owner of My Place Home Care, Kumar Saha, when I was looking for extra care for my mother who is 98 years old. He spent a lot of time finding out about my mother’s needs, providing information and making suggestions. I was impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the situation. He introduced my mother and I to Barb, the personal support worker that he felt would be best suited for her. Barb became invaluable as a few weeks later my mother became ill while I was out of the country. Barb accompanied my mother to the hospital where she was admitted and she stayed the night with her until the next morning. I was so thankful for her dedication and genuine concern for my mother’s well-being. Over the next few weeks, Barb and other PSWs, provided the care and comfort that my mother needed during that time. Kumar was in constant communication with me to ensure that we had the services required and that everything went smoothly (which it did). The service and the level of care my mother received was exceptional and went above and beyond my expectations. My Place Home Care is committed and dedicated and I would highly recommend them.

When my partner's mother had a sudden & severe illness, we had almost zero support from the publicly-funded orgs that provide PSW care. We were desperate for help. I'm so grateful that we found My Place Home Care. They were responsive, compassionate, professional and reliable. Kumar and the rest of the team and My Place Home Care really really understand what their clients are going through; they're in this field of work for all the right reasons. In a saner, kinder world, everyone who needs sit would have access to care like this. I'm still furious that the LIHN failed us so spectacularly, but deeply grateful to Kumar and his people.

My mother was hospitalized and when she was discharged I reached out to Kumar to help me transition her home with some help. It was 2 weeks ago and right in the middle of this pandemic and he could not ha e been more understanding or helpful. We got immediate assistance that continued for 10 days. The PSW was kind and compassionate and caring and I am so grateful to My Place Home Care. As I was unable to go to my mother due to isolation this service was invaluable.

Compassion and peace of mind.When my dad was first diagnosed with kidney failure, I was lucky enough to be able to take time off work and get him to his appointments. He needed to go to the hospital three times a week and my wife and I managed to do this - for a while. But we knew we could not do it long term.That is when we met with Kumar of My Place Home Care. We explained to him the situation. He listened to our situation and we discussed what services we thought we would need and what to do with unexpected changes in our schedule. He was super understanding and flexible.The My Place Home Care team has been nothing less than excellent. They provide the service that we want, when we want, at the highest quality. They also communicate with us regularly. Unlike the doctors and retirement homes where we need to make an appointment to find out what is happening with my dad, My Place Home Care keeps us informed. It was because of this that we recently increased the services that we request from My Place Home Care because we know they will get the job done and keep us informed of what is happening.I highly recommend this service.
