The best store EVER! My pup pretty much drags me here and is so excited to come every time. The staff is incredible. They are so knowledgeable, kind and helpful. And they have the best recommendations. All the employees genuinely love animals and interact with my pup with such care and affection. We love this pet valu ❤

Just purchased this fish from the store 30 minutes ago, when I went home I found the fish dead, I called the store customer asking her to replace this fish she said that it is non refundable and she will not return it, when I requested to talk to the manger her name (Oreana) she they told me that I cannot talk to her as she doesn’t want to talk to customers as she is too busy to handle all the stores she in-charge off, and I can only contact her via email. totally unacceptable way to deal with a customer, very disappointed from the way I had been served today, I wouldn’t recommend any one to deal buy from this store.Unreliable and very bad manger.

Staff here are unhelpful and discourteous. Came to use the pet wash station and wasn’t allowed because it was “reserved”. I was told reservations are held for 10 minutes so I waited patiently, and still was not allowed to use it even though no one showed up. Called a different location and was invited in with no huss or fuss. Will definitely not be returning here.

Staff is always very friendly and willing to help. I can't say the same for the short furry one but he makes up for it in cuteness I guess.

Not as big as PetSmart or Ren's but they have stuff they don't carry and I think the prices are a bit better (slightly). This location has two cat mascots. Between price and selection, Ren's is probably the best of the three.

It's okay! Dorval and N.Service location is my preferred go-to. They are newly renovated but also tend to have a much larger selection of items, this location rarely carries the leashes, collars, or training tools I come in for. If they do have them, they do not have the right sizes, and when I ask if they are getting them in I am told something different every visit. 6 weeks later the stock is still the same. Usually end up going to Burlington location for the training tools and correct sizes.

We had a similar experience to another fellow reviewer and it’s something this store needs to address or better communicate. Nowhere online or in the store does it state that the “self service” dog wash is by appointment only. We turned up today and asked one of the employees how we pay, she kindly said “you can pay before or after the wash it’s up to you” so we proceeded to the dog wash self service area where we waited for 2 customers to finish. They finished and we walked in and started washing our dogs. I noticed that there were no towels so I walked up to the front desk to ask for a towel and that’s when the lady (different from the first one) proceeded to tell me it was by appointment only, it came across quite rude and abrupt. I told her I wasn’t aware of this as it’s not stated anywhere that this is the policy. She replied with “well it is”. She gave me some towels so we could finish off washing and drying our dogs which we were grateful for. Pet Valu - I’d recommend you clearly state these policies to ensure new customers are aware of this, we aren’t against booking, we purely just weren’t aware and to be honest tarnished our want to come back to that store. I called another Pet Valu asking what their policy was and had a different reception, I was told that during the week you can walk in but on weekends they “preferred” bookings… however didn’t state it was necessary. It takes a small change to your signs in the store to advise your customers appointments are required, this would avoid the unfortunate experiences that your customers have had what looks to be a few times.

Horrible walked out in tears !!!The Beta fish section thrown in back of store was disgusting and abuse to those poor fish.Not swimming not that they could in small cups. Filled with urine burning there fins.Poo for days and the response they are due a water change!!!!

Staff are always friendly! Booking self server shower for my dog is always easy.
