Tigger's Playschool & Preschool

My family and I have been a part of the Tigger's family for over 7 years now. My daughter was immediately drawn to the kind and loving spirit of owner Raymonde and can't say enough how much we love this daycare. The staff members have always been attentive to both of my kids unique needs and I have always been pleased with what they have learned over the years. The field trips(Pre-Covid) and activities such as swimming and Gymnastics have been an absolutely wonderful experience for them both! My son is attending for the last year as he will be going into kindergarten and we will sadly miss every one there!!!!

Would not reccomend this daycare at all. Poorly organized and the woman who runs it doesnt respond half the time. My kids wwill be going somewhere else. Not to mention that she emotionally hurt a family of 3 kids once. I wouldn't trust Raymonde if I were you.

My daughter’s school counselor reported an ongoing incident that had been occurring at this centre to licensing. I did not get a say in the matter, as counsellor’s have a duty to report odd behaviour.Accordingly, me and another parent pulled our children from the centre and notified the owner of the incident. The owner dealt with the incident by saying my daughter was lying, that she had also made up lies about me, she was attention seeking and that she had caused undue stress for her and her staff.I highly do not recommend this daycare. The owner has zero conflict resolution skills and isn’t present enough at the daycare to confirm or deny the conduct of her staff.

Worst day care. I don't want to give even 1 star. My kids first play school and he just hate this school. Rude owner and she will find reasons for not giving back the deposit.I feel like I saved my son. Now he is in correct place and he is enjoying. Some staffs are really good. If you have no choice keep kids at home. If you love them please dont send them here.

My daughter has been going to Tigger Too’s playschool for a year and is always excited to go to “school”. I have noticed a positive shift in her communication skills and her independence (coming out of covid it was a struggle)The main “teacher” is wonderful and my daughter always comes home with fun activities.

Would give negative stars if I could. My son went to the after-school care program and was constantly bullied by one of the the children there who happened to be the child of one of the staff members. He dreaded going as no staff ever did anything to intervene professionally and effectively - which in hindsight is expected as they were mostly just RAs with, what it seemed to be, no experience or education in dealing with children or revolving conflicts. Just overall under qualified people and under staffed - which the owner said was part reason for cancelling my sons care even though when enrolling him she was aware of his ADHD diagnoses and had his IEP document for reference. No official incident reports were ever made. No effort was made to come up with a care plan or address issues. The owner kept our deposit and canceled our care half way through the month and did not issue a refund which left me, a young single mother, strapped for cash and floundering like a fish to find care so I could work. My son goes to a different after school care program now and loves it. He has made friends and the staff are so wonderful and collaborative to ensure the best care for the children. My sister also attended this (Tiggers) after school care and was bullied by another girl, and nothing was done about it either. Hopefully other families have had or will have a better experience. Very poorly run.

The owner was always very nice and accommodating to my family needs. My daughter had a great experience there and I think the only thing I wasn’t a big fan of was the outside play area: the toys were kinda old and the pebbles were not super ideal for little ones to play on. In general, it’s a good little daycare.

This is the worst daycare I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have had my younger child in the full day program and she would have accidents and a multitude of issues occurred during her time there. Many times I would pick up my child and there would be children being aggressive toward others and the staff are not trained to deal with the mental and physical disabilities in children attending this daycare.My older child was enrolled in the before and after care and I had many issues with the staffing and how the staff addressed peer issues between the kids. I had encountered a situation during summer care of a staff member LEAVING THE CHILDREN ALONE IN THE VAN while he went to get coffee! That staff member was let go but had my child not told me what was occurring, who knows what happens during the day.To make matters worse, the owner is constantly making poor choices and will plan days in which parents have to pay for events outside of their usual monthly fees. There are plenty of activities that can be planned without requiring parents to pay extra for activities. She does not respond in a timely manner and is always defensive because she is always getting sick.This is not a recommended daycare and I hope that if you have no other choice, put your child on a waitlist for a different day care.

I asked my son what he thinks of being at Tiggers. He says I love it! I love the toys and the leaders". He's made lots of friends and it is steps away from his elementary school. The staff have been so friendly and delightful. Tiggers has been very adaptable during the pandemic

My son has been enrolled at tiggers for a few years. Both the summer camp as well as the before/after school program. I appreciate the staff at the centre as they seem to really engage with him and provide insight into his behaviour and experiences on a day to day basis. He seems happy with the staff and activities they participate in. He has made some good friends here.
