My band recorded a song there recently and we had a blast doing it. Mike Oz was extremely helpful, experienced and knowledgeable. Through all my studio experience, this was by far the best. It's a very laid back and comfortable setting that makes you feel at home, while still being very professional. We absolutely loved every minute we spent there and can't wait to go back.

I have been working with Mike from studioZ Productions for just over a year. I submitted lyrics to the Music for the Mind, Veterans Edition. My lyrics were used for a spoken word track for that CD. The end result, which was produced by Mike was unbelievable. It was way more than I ever thought it could be. The track was well received by professional artists that I know in both Canada and the US.Recently, I have been a student of Mike's for his Music Production Course. I knew exactly what to expect with the curriculum that he provided me. For the course, we work remotely via Zoom, which has been excellent. We both work off my computer learning how to use Pro Tools and associated plugins, microphones and instruments. The one on one instruction is excellent and in a short time has taught me how to record and produce my own songs.Mike has been an excellent instructor. He has provided many handouts related to the class he will be teaching. These handouts are excellent.Along with all of his his musical knowledge, he is also a Mental Health Counsellor. In my case, with Post Traumatic Stress, I didn't realize until we started the course, how much I needed that particular education in an instructor while I am on my musical journey.I highly recommend studioZ Productions for all of your musical needs. Mike Oz is a heartfelt, intense and passionate, musical genius. Mike comes from the heart and his work is fantastic.I took my folk rock song, which I had wanted to be integrated with dance pop styles to Mike Oz at StudioZ without much expectation. I had already tried working with other producers and no one had understood my vision.From the moment we began working I got very excited because it was obvious Mike got exactly what I wanted. He heard my vision in the song and was able to translate it perfectly. The amazing thing is he understands so many styles and can work with them seamlessly. From EDM, to heavy rock, and it seems a lot in between, Mike authentically loves and understands music. He knows a good song and what it takes to make it great and can translate an artists vision with both authority and compassion.StudioZ has great gear and Mike knows how to use it. If we wanted a sound or effect he didn’t know how to get he never talked me out of it or pretended, he just went ahead and learned how to do it. When I would come for our next session he would have already mastered the technique. In the end I got the exact production I had dreamed of for this song.
