Swan on the Rideau
We celebrated mothers day tonight with friends and my mom. Excellent food. A bit slow service for the food but we enjoyed ourselves. One suggestion though... perhaps put mosquito repellent machines out. The skeeters are hungry!!!

We stopped for a drink and some desserts last summer. The place was full but they had room in the patio area. Beautiful view and food was delicious.

Lovely place! We sat in the covered terrace - the outdoor patio has a limited menu because the tables are smaller and they have their own bar, but we arrived early and they were able to accomodate us on the terrace, which is covered from bugs, so it felt like we were outside, which was nice. Food was superb - large portions you can take home.

Awesome food and great prices. We were a group of 10 and everything was great from the seating to the food quality. All the entrees we ordered were well prepared and adequate quantity.

We had a wonderful late lunch in their fan cooled screened in porch overlooking the Rideau River. The food was great and the service was very friendly. There's also a full patio with lawn chairs. We've been there winter and summer and it's always been a friendly pub.

Great local pub that's snug and warm in the winter, and cool and sunny in the summer. Food, drink and service are all great - lots of homemade items, which differ from so many of the frozen/reheated meals at other pubs. Lots of 'specials' nights for a good deal. The patio in the summer is huge and incredible - screened in or out in the open. Lots of parking, too.

If I would have lived closer to Manitok, I would have visited this place once every weekWonderful vibe. Great prices. The management is so accommodating. They truly care about your over all experience :)You can make a day trip out your visit here, there is a great apple orchard close to here which is a great place for families or even friends or for a date to be honest :D

It's been about 4 years from the last time we visited this restaurant and I'm happy to see them survive! The updated menu is something I immediately noticed and as soon as I took my first bite I instantly knew there was a change in the kitchen, a change I am happy to accept as everything my family tried was delicious. I had the fish n' chips and I was surprised with the large portion size. The batter thickness was just right, seasoned and cooked well. I also liked the chickpea cucumber side that it came with, a nice change to the typical slaw. My husband had wings (he mixed Thai and Hot) and he thoroughly enjoyed them. My kids will forever ask for chicken fingers and fries which is typical for any restaurant but they were super happy to see them shaped as dinosaurs! Atmosphere was great and looking forward to their new patio which is currently being renovated (supposed to be ready for Canada Day). Overall enjoyed our time here and looking forward to coming back!

We got take out and were very disappointed with the amount and quality of this $26 dish, chicken paneer curry. It consisted mostly of rice, tasted fine, but was very minimal.

First time visiting, ordered a veggie burger and ceasar salad. Veggie burger, so so it was a tad dry and lacked flavour,( side note it is really hard to find a great veggie burger when it is not a focus of the restaurant) ceasar salad had crisp lettuce and toppings the dressing was ok a tad vinegary for my taste.Hence my 3 score, however the others at my table enjoyed their meals. So the food score could be placed at 4.
