This is why I luv Korean cuisine so much coz once you dine and eat Korean food, you will never walk out the restaurant hungry. That applies to every Korean restaurant that I been to from around the world. Their side dishes alone will feed you and when you ask for refill, you will always get fed properly.Same goes to this Daldongnae North York 1 location.We ordered an order of pork belly and beef tenderloin, when it arrived on the wooden plate, you know it's high quality meat. Although it's not all-you-can-eat (AYCE)), it's enough food.We also ordered an order of the seafood pancake. Pancake is so thin crusted, crispy and fluffy light, super delicious with mini shrimps and squid blended with chives and other veggies, it's super filling and delicious.And the side dishes are yummy plus the grilled garlic, kimchi for lettuce wrap for the meat when it's ready. Also, the cheese sweet corn and egg on the side of the grill are perfect to eat with a bowl of steamy rice.It was so satisfying to dine-in at Daldongnae and will definitely come back again.

Daldongae never disappoints with their food and super friendly service. This is my 4th time there and this time, sitting in their patio seating just elevated the experience even more. We had their thin pork belly and beef short plates, which was perfect for 2 people. Their kimchi cold noodle is so refreshing, giving you a nice break in between the grilled meats. The refillable corn cheese and egg are extremely addictive so make sure to save some room for that!All to say is, there's not a reason why you shouldn't try out this restaurant for some good kbbq. Make sure to make a reservation since fridays and weekends are usually busier.

I was craving some Korean BBQ and this definitely satisfied my craving!! SO DELICIOUS!!. Daldongnae never disappoints. I really liked this location. The service was top notch! They always paid attention to our table and made sure we got everything, even asked if we wanted refills. It gets pretty busy but the wait time wasn't too bad. I really liked the seafood pancake as a side dish. Big portion and it's very filling. I would definitely come back to this location. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!!

Service and the quality of food has went down drastically over the years.Visited during lunch and it wasn’t that busy.We got 4 types of cut, scallion seafood pancake, and steamed rice which is about 4-5 portions of food for two.Their soybean stew came out as “complimentary”, which is technically included when you get their bbq. We both had a sip and it tasted off. I could taste fine ground pepper that comes in a square tin can (which you never put in soybean stew), barely any soybean and onions were still crunchy raw. It tasted like dog water that was made by someone who never had soybean stew in their life.We brought it into attention to one of the server and asked if we could have it remade. She brought other person (presumably floor manager) and he literally said “I can’t do anything about that because it’s a complimentary and it’s not something that you actually ordered”. The delivery and the attitude from him honestly baffled us.We were asking for refills for the sides and we had to ask for twice multiple times because they’d forget. I stacked empty plates for them to clear but they barely took them. We finished our meal in the midst of piles of empty plates, underwhelming stew, and forgotten side dishes we never got.

If you are looking for the best Korean barbecue in town, this is the place to be. Pork and beef barbecue are delicious! The manager (Sean) and staff are so friendly and helpful. Meat quality is good and tastes fresh. It comes with a lot of side dishes that compliment the meat well— even if you’re picky, you’re probably going to find a side dish to dig in throughout the night!

The corn they served has gone bad.They used the sauce that was prepared the night before or something because the sesame oil and the ssamjang was dried.The pork belly had a bad smell.Also they were sliced in different thickness and it was presented badly. The garlic was old and all dried up.The side dishes were gone bad. We didnt finish and asked for the bill.They didnt charge us anything becaus we didnt eat anything.Server apologied but we all know it's not the server's fault. I will not go there again.Very disappointing.

This is the first time we try this place. Good atmosphere but very busy. I find the table is a bit too small to fit everything on it. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I would go back another time.

The meat itself is so tasty. Plenty of side dishes are refilled and delicious. We ordered their unique cocktail which is very good to try. I'd recommend the place.
