Convenient, busy local bakery with a ton of options from bread, sandwiches, sweets, croissants- stuffed and plain, pretzel pepperoni and cheese and places to sit. The pizza you can buy by the slice or whole. Nice crust, thin delicious pizza, only compliant by the slice I asked for it warm and it def was not that warm and the croissant I didn’t have the option to warm, I believe it would’ve been better warm. Good prices, wood fired. Croissant was def a day old or so..

Surprised to see some of the reviews as I sit down to write mine. I ordered the Ham & Cheese pizza, it was one of the best slices I've had to date. Crust was perfectly cooked for this style of pizza (thin foldable with good structure and nicely risen crust), the sauce was spot on for me ( great tomato flavour, not unnecessarily seasoned) and the ingredients on top we're well chosen - good thickness on the sliced ham, solid chorizo, full flavored mozza and creamy bocccini. Couldn't finish it and ate the leftovers immediately when I got home. Too full to try any baked goods, but am looking forward to another visit.

Church Street Woodfired Bakery
Must be good as we visited numerous times during our 10 day visit to Comox . Had lovely coffees and the best breakfast croissant in all our two and a half week visit to the island the weather was lovely so sat outside and watched the world go by.Also ordered a take away pizza which was delicious. A very busy shop with locals and tourists. Will be back next time we visit our daughter.

Bought a scone and apple fritter here and definitely enjoyed it. The scone was delicious even without butter and the apple fritter was divine. The staff was overall friendly and the bakery smelled amazing as most do. I didn't try but saw they sell pizza too which looked delish aswell. Would definitely recommend and will go there next time in the area.

Church Street Woodfired Bakery
Great Traditional Take/Bake on pizza with a Fire Stone oven. Also a tasteful selection of baked treats and sweets. This is a classic for the Valley and a MUST try.
