Nomi Resort

Staff is wonderful and helpful. Very nice atmosphere, cozy lounge, rooms aren't super modern but comfortable and functional. Location is great, very close to horseback riding and hiking in Algonquin. Just make sure you plan ahead if you want to leave the resort for dinner, 2 places we went to were closed and had to come back to eat at the resort (which was delicious).

I purchased a 2 night, 3 course culinary experience, and what an experience!!From the relaxing scent of lemongrass in the huge welcoming lobby and luxurious linens and body products in our room to an absolutely exquisite 3 course meal at the on-site Lands 8fifty restaurant!!My husband and I stayed end of March and though the weather wasn't very nice, there was lots to do, a game or two of pool in the lounge, hiking the property trails, horseback riding just down the road... unfortunately I didn't plan ahead and book a treatment at the in house Spa, but I WILL be back to try the signature facial and body wrap with massage!!!

We can't wait to be back, the winter weekend getaway was exactly what we needed. The room was huge, the view was perfect and the entire stay was relaxing. Elise took care of every detail, Holly at the spa really took care of my fiance during her treatments , she loved every second and didn't want it to end. If you are around and looking for a place to eat go see Hugo and the guys at LANDS850. The food was outstanding, and made with to perfection down to every detail. See you all in the summer! If you drive a sport car - the drive up to the Nomi Resort is absolutely fantastic. Coming from Toronto, taking 507, 503, 118 & 648, the roads just keep on giving curves after curves. The staff is beyond just nice. They have hearts. Being a dog friendly hotel, I totally forgot to pack my dog's food. Nomi's staff make sure my dog fed well, they even offer her beef steak... The spa is another world, my wife had a therapeutic massage and It was one of the best massage she ever had.

Great location, the resort is a little dated but clean and comfortable. The dining was not as great as indicated by other reviews. The signature beef shortrib dish was good but the other dishes on the menu were below average. We used a travel voucher which indicated that taxes and gratuities were not included. A $118 charge was added arbitrarily by the resort. Not impressed by that.

Nomi resort has always gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. Had a group up in January to the spa and lands fifty and the food was amazing with fabulous service. We'll be back again.

We stayed for one night to be close by to a family member’s cottage, so we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the spa or access the lake. That said, we really enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious and comfortable and had a number of little extras that made our stay more comfortable, including a Nespresso machine and comfy white robes. The bed was very comfortable and the room had huge windows looking out to a lovely view. The property is older but it was exceptionally clean and many efforts have been made to modernize the rooms and common areas. We also enjoyed a top-notch breakfast with fantastic service from the very friendly staff. We hope to come back to stay again and enjoy more of the amenities!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting NOMI resort as a part of a Porsche driving experience tour. We received a warm welcome with a comforting lobby and fantastic arrangements in an outdoor tent for the event. Followed by an evening social where a variety of local wine and beer options were available on their outdoor patio and resort tours were offered. The culinary experience was amazing and the team chose to make my birthday special. The king suite with a 180 window gives you the best views of the place with tasteful decor and amenities. I didn't have a chance to try the spa services, which is due for the next visit

Harvey has been absolutely fantastic, answered all my questions about the Mother’s Day brunch, conscientious of my food allergies and calling back with questions answered. I am SO pleased with the service provided by Harvey, we are so excited!!

I gave this trip as a gift, and was not disappointed. Recognizing that Covid issues interfered with the trip, the resort did a remarkable job of providing a great trip! When there was an issue it was dealt with very professionally and efficiently. They loved the access to trails and really enjoyed the massage at the Spa. They both raved about the wonderful gourmet cuisine. They also really enjoyed going horseback riding just down the road from the resort. Would definitely recommend this resort for a wonderful weekend getaway! Thanks Nomi for providing such a great gift experience.
