Once Upon A Child Regina

I sold them 8 items for a measly $20! What a rip off! My toys were practically new, a new child harness and other items. I felt very ripped off and will not be returning to sell items there ever again.

Decent selection. Was nice to have the option of winter stuff out (in sept). But there were a few racks of girls clothes that were fairly empty while I was looking. But it sounded like they had a lot to unpack and hang up. So I wouldn’t dock points for that.They had handmade (local) masks available to purchase in a variety of sizes, lots of accessories, and lots of winter hats and mitts which are necessary.Really clean store. Most items seemed extremely clean and well curated which was nice to see. Not crowded at all like some secondhand stores get. It’s also doesn’t smell like a thrift store either which is so nice. Will definitely be back!

I would give zero stars if I could. Bunch of crooks. This place is absolute garbage. It looks like they went to Walmart, bought 3 brand new in box water tables priced at $34 and they are trying to sell for $44 in their store!!!! Absolutely sickening. Never will step foot in that store again. Shop somewhere else

I highly do not recommend!! Owner is a rip off,1) she talks bad about past employees. She barely trains you which is ridiculous and then belittles your when you make a mistake.2) she is NOT a good business owner. I’ve heard from multiple people who used to work for her, firing them over emails, belittling, yelling at them, sitting on her phone on the main floor,3) she bought 3 water tables from Walmart brand new ($34/each) and is trying to sell them for $44.95! This is ridiculous.4)they buy stuff for dirt cheap and then jack upthe price. Overall, this is not a business worth supporting. All the bad reviews are accurate.

The older lady was so rude when I went there the other day. I wasn’t aware of how they did things. Made me feel like my stuff was garbage. The price of items is no deal! I was able to get brand new jeans for my kids on sale at the same price they offer.

Zero stars, but needed to inform everyone before they buy from here that they OVER SELL used items that you can buy BRAND NEW from an actual store, not a used store. I used to sell my brand name clothes and expensive toys there (the first few times were great prices) but then it became really cheap to sell what I was offering. Everything changed when I went to look at prices and they want over $200 for a USED stroller, you can definitely get a BRAND NEW one for that exact price @walmart. Not mentioning they over price the toys which you can get brand new at other stores.. this place in Regina has lost it. Not to mention how rude and non-professional the manager is. She claims that she buys ITEMS that are a set but will separate the set and only pay for one item. And when called out on what she’s doing she tries to play nice but your firstly met with how rude she can be. Definitely not worth the penny. I would highly consider buying and selling your gently used clothing and toys on the east side @KidsClothingCottage. They’re more nice and give a better price. (Also mentioning we pay gst and pst on our kids clothing and Once upon a child makes you pay the gst and pst on used clothing and will not give that cent back when selling)They’re definitely going through something which is why you get the lowest amount to sell and the highest amount to buy, the owner is definitely money hungry now.. sorry not sorry

This place deserves 0 stars.Owner is ridiculous! So rude and unprofessional.Staff is always super sweet, but it’s sad to see how they’re treated.I used to love shopping here, but I’ve seen the owner on her cellphone multiple times, and seen how irritated the staff look when owner is around,. That is unprofessional, if you need to be on your phone go to the back, not where everyone can see you.While they do have an amazing selection of boys clothes and shoes, it’s just not worth supporting the owner. This is my least favourite once upon a child location.They also rip you off when purchasing items. They buy for less then $1/pc and jack up the price, I’ve even noticed It with toys from friends who have tried to sell to them.Not worth it.

I do not recommend at all!!! If there was zero stars - even that will be too much.This particular branch of once upon a child store picks out only the NEW (stuff with tags) or “worn once” stuff in your package and pay you $1 or less for those new/almost new items. Yet they sell those items for $8.00 or more in the store. The whole operation is nothing short of daylight robbery. You are better off donating your items to charity. At least you know you are being charitable as opposed to enabling a store in ripping people off- both at the point of sale and purchase.Do NOT go here!

Went there to pick up a play kitchen, manager was very rude, blatantly full of attitude and disregarded the interest in me wanting to purchase. Very disorganized and maybe that would help customers not be confused as if something was up for sale or not. Manager needs to do better.

They run a monthly free item with purchase for a piece of clothing up to 12m, I questioned why they limit the size of up to 12m when majority of babies will not follow “standard size guides” and they are limiting families that may have babies that grow past this size before they are even near 12m old.If they are going to run services of any kind, they should try to be more inclusive. I was met with being ignored, my comments being deleted.At least have the decency to respond. Any answer would have been fine.
