Ditch Records & CD's

Excellent selection. You will most likely find the music you are looking for here. I found a record I was going to order online(Weakerthans) for a better price here, no shipping cost when you pick it up yourself and way more fun. Wish they separated the punk/ alternative but it is still fun trying to find what you are looking for. I make a stop here every time I am in Victoria.

Brutal. For all you saying it’s the best shop in Victoria, you’re right cause it’s the only one worth even walking into. Most of the staff have the personality of a wet rag. Will definitely not be going back.

Never had a bad experience. Great selection, fun place to shop. Have spent hundreds here, on used and new LPs, Cds. They have posters and some books as well. Great selection.

Smaller yet special venue for many types of performances. Easy access with a parkade nearby. Should have more bathrooms but that is not unusual for theatres. Sound and sightlines are excellent.

That's the place to go for vinyl purchases in Victoria. I have tried a lot of record stores in Vancouver as well, but I have to say that it is hard to match the huge selection and (very fair) prices of Ditch. Couldn't recommend it more! I can mainly speak for the metal & jazz options there, and they're just amazing.

Bought Bjork and Suicide vinyls from this place in August 2017. The guy was friendly once I got to the till. They have a very vast selection of records to choose from. It was hard because I only chose to get 2, but I could've easily bought 10 because of the selection. Best record store in Victoria.

#1 spot for used cd's, records and cassettes. i was blown away the first time i came here with their selection, jam packed full of everything a collector could want. staff is super down to earth and friendly, and the prices are fairly reasonable too! they sell both new and used items here. i recommend this place to all of my friends. will be back soon!

Awesome record store with plenty of used and new records that is also well organized. Always stop here during my trips to Victoria

Very large inventory and nice store, but used vinyl is way overpriced compared to the stores I frequent in Vancouver, such as Beat Street, Red Cat Records, etc. Albums I was interested in, such as Aztec Camera, were $20-$25 whereas I can get the same albums for $12 or less on discogs or in Vancouver stores. Also, after inspecting the albums that I was interested in, they were all scuffed and scratched. Many albums I saw at Ditch that I purchased in Vancouver stores were more than double the price and in far worse condition. Perhaps vinyl competition in Victoria is fierce thus driving up the prices, I don't know. But I definitely wasn't impressed - I went through more than half the inventory and finally gave up because everything was just too expensive for the overall condition. I wish you best of luck, and I love record stores, thanks for keeping the faith, but unfortunately, this store was a hard pass for me.
