Randy's Car Repair

Randy replaced our front wheel bearings, did a great job and persevered, stuck with it. I knew one the bearings was going out, but couldn't replace it myself before leaving on our trip so brought the parts with us. The bearings required some press work which he didn't have the equipment for but agreed to take care of it hoping the press work wasn't required and when found it was took the initiative to take it to a shop in Cut Bank, MT to do the press work. That placed messed them up, but Randy purchased new hub assemblies for us and did the work for the originally quoted price, but I paid him extra to help with the expense. His shop is nothing to consider and might make you wonder when you first get there, but don't let that fool you. I'd use Randy's services again, for sure.

Randy was awesome, was in the park when we discovered we had a coolant leak made it to the bottom and found Randy after our vehicle overheated twice, he fixed us up and was back on the rd after about a hf hr, def recommend him!!

Had my vehicle break down by Many Glaciers lodge and was able to get it towed over to Randy's place in Babb. Didn't have everything to fix it but got it going enough to get it to the west side of the park for further servicing. Appreciate the help and would definitely take my vehicle there again if I find myself stranded in northern Montana. Thank you!!!

Randy saved our trip to Glacier National Park! My brake pads were done and my rotors were grinding right when we got into the park. I thought our whole week was ruined but I called Randy the next morning and he checked the brakes immediately when I brought the truck in to him. He diagnosed the problem, called for parts, and set up to pick them up the next morning before I came back for the fix. He had it done in a few hours and the truck is running like gold now! I would not have made it home to Colorado had I not found Randy so I cannot say how grateful I am enough!! If you’re staying on the east side of the park he is literally 15 minutes from the entrance and I cannot recommend Randy and his services enough!

Randy!! This review is coming a few years late. In the summer of 2017 myself and a couple of friends (at the time just 20 year old female college students) got a flat while visiting GNP. We were overwhelmed and a little bit in over our heads, but you completely saved the day. You were so kind, friendly, and helpful. We still talk about you and your dogs to this day. We hope you’re doing well!

Our brakes gave out going into Glacier National Park with other mechanics telling us it'd be at least a week til they could get us in. Randy not only did it for us that day but also made a 3 hour round trip just to go and pick the brakes up for us in town. He was fast, courtesy, and pleasant. He didn't try to overcharge us or add on other repairs. If in the area and in need of professional help, I'd 100% suggest, Randy, without a doubt.

Brakes went out on a Saturday evening while returning from 2 medicine area. Made it to St Mary. Called and left Randy a message. He returned my call early Sunday morning. Came to our campsite and checked out vehicle. He returned Monday morning to make repair after driving over 160miles to pick up parts. Truly went above and beyond. Wonderful to find such a helpful person in the middle of no where!!!

Randy was amazing! We got a flat tire after visiting glacier national park. He came to our location! He was able to patch it and informed us that both front tires of our rental were bald and needed to be replaced asap. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend him to anyone!

We were on a family vacation from Wisconsin, we went to Yellowstone and were on our way to Glacier National Park when the drivers side wheel bearing went out. We thought we were screwed, Luckily we found Randy, we picked up the part from NAPA and brought the truck and the part to him. He had us back on the road and running that same day. He was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He is a super nice guy and seems willing to help out as much as he can. Thank you Randy!!

Randy is the MAN! Our rental camper had a radiator fan break down and he drove 300+ miles to get parts and have us back on the road in less than 24 hours. His pricing was extremely fair and he got a great discount on parts that he passed along to us. Randy is an extremely pleasant guy and the dogs at his yard we're great at wearing out our puppy before the 1600 mile journey back to God's Country (Wisconsin). We hope to never need Randy's services again but will definitely stop by next time we pass through Babb!
