Indish Food Truck

I tried the Samosa Bun today and it was so addictive. I love normally dipping Samosa in sauces and this was a great way to have the entire samosa with the sauce in a sandwich and yet it wasn’t messy or sloppy, it was nice and clean and super tasty. Would definitely get it again!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this Indian catering food truck and trying their samosa chat, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The food truck itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.The samosa chat was the star of the show for me. We The dish had a perfect balance of flavors, with the tangy tamarind chutney, the spicy hot chili chutney, and the cool and refreshing green mint chutney all coming together in a harmonious mix. The samosa themselves were crispy and fresh, and the filling was flavorful and satisfying.The portion size was generous, and the price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. I also appreciated the fact that the food was made fresh to order, ensuring that it was hot and tasty when served.

Great food, and great service! I absolutely love that they have lots of dairy free options and are very considerate of dietary restrictions. This can be hard to find with Indian cooking!

We had Indish come to our location as part of Asian Heritage Month and everyone LOVED the food. You can tell the food is made with love, sauces and samosas were flavourful and fresh and the mango lassis were absolutely delicious. If you see Indish in your neighbourhood, please give it a try as you will be in for a treat!

Loooove your food. So happy to see you around river district again. The spinach curry with either paneer or chana kebab is amazing. The paneer doesn't feel like this weird rubbery texture that most restaurant has. So fresh, so flavorful and colorful. Please come by river district more often.

I finally got to try Indish when they came to UBC for the April 2023 (first ever) food truck festival. I had the Vegan Kebab Makhani and a Masala Chai. The kebabs were not what I was expecting - they were really soft, almost like a chickpea paste, not at all with the firmness and texture of usual vegan meat substitutes. But once I got past my expectations I really liked the kebabs - it was kind of like an Indian version of refried beans. The gravy was flavourful but not too heavy, and the slaw was zingy and refreshing. The chai was excellent! The flavours were so well-balanced. The people working the truck were pretty nice. The chai took 10 minutes because I got there right as they opened, but they warned me about this. Food orders were coming out pretty quickly and if you arrived a bit after opening, once the chai was ready, you wouldn’t have to wait. I hope to try more dishes if I run into this truck again.

I booked the Indish team for a staff event with 65 people. Super organized, they took care of everything and were accommodating. Delicious, very filling food and they had tons of options to fit dietary needs. Great customer service, highly recommend!

Lucky they were at the Lynn Canyon bridge and the samosa in a bun was a cool experience but wish I asked for non spicy
