Canadian Cue Sports Academy

I recently had a pool lesson from Erik Hjorleifson of CCSA at Shooterville in Burlington. Although I’ve had a table at home for a few years my game is still at the novice level and the purpose of the lesson was to increase my enjoyment of the game. Erik pointed out a few simple changes to my stance, bridge and backstroke which gave immediate benefits.We also worked on other fundamentals to help with cue ball control and shot weight. Erik gave some some simple exercises to help with practice. Not a series of drills which I’m sure would bore me after a while but a simple ‘game’ I can play myself to improve shotmaking.Erik’s instruction was clear, concise and just right for my level.Looking forward to a follow up lesson after practicing these fundamentals until more comfortable with them. Also looking forward to winning more when playing with my friends!
