Chartwell Ridgepointe Retirement Residence

Chartwell Ridgepointe Retirement Residence is fantastic facility. Whenever I visit my father, he always has a big smile on his face and without prompting, always tells me how happy he is living at Ridgepointe. He has developed long lasting friendships with the other residents as well as the extremely professional staff. The facility is immaculate and the daily activities are varied and entertaining. The food/menu is well thought out and is first rate. The staff are inviting, welcoming and filled with joy - they seem to really like their jobs!!! We have had a very positive experience with Ridgepointe and therefore, I highly recommend the residence.

I have been in the Pineview Valley for as long as Ridgepointe has been operating and am happy to have them as part of our community. My wife and I used to occasionally volunteer and help out the staff there for different events and the residents always seemed so happy to be living there! Hopefully we can resume our post-covid volunteering again soon. I also fondly remember seeing residents participate in the community garbage pick up and other events; the staff are very engaged. It is also exciting for them to be expanding the building by several dozen more suites - a sign that things must be going well for them! Maybe in a few years we will also be calling Ridgepointe our home too!

I have been helping Jordan with flooring replacement in the suites as needed in an ongoing basis for a number of years now. I'm always impressed by the friendliness of Dean, Andrea and all the staff. The cleanliness of the property is also very impressive. Chartwell Ridgepointe is lucky to have Jordan as a GM who genuinely cares about what does and about the people who call Ridgepointe their home.

My mother in-law lives at Chartwell Ridgepointe and my wife and I are very involved in her care. We visit several times a week. The team of staff are amazing, they go above and beyond to enrich the lives of the residents. Chartwell Ridgepointe offers quality surroundings, a welcoming atmosphere and we find staff to be very friendly and approachable. Our mom has lived at Chartwell Ridgepoint for 6 years and we couldn't have asked for a better place for her. She is always telling us how much she loves living at Chartwell and especially loves all the people who help make their days happy and bright. The staff go above and beyond for all the residence and it truly feels like home........thank you for all you do.......

My parents moved to Chartwell Ridgepointe Kamloops several years ago. This is an exceptional senior’s residence especially under the Management of Jordan Amon, he has the perfect demeanor for this position, and is a great advocate. I would like to acknowledge the management and staff for the excellent service they provide and give a special shout out to Andrea, Dean, Marivic, Preston, Chris, Heather and Tanisha they are always so personable and accommodating. The last couple of years have been very challenging for our family and everyone at Ridgepointe has really stepped up to assist. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for taking such wonderful care of my mom especially since my dad passed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan and staff over a lunch period. I was very impressed with how happy all the residents were. There was a wonderful energy throughout the lunch area with tons of interaction and lively conversations among the residents. As I toured with Jordan, all residents made a point to say hello. Jordan knew all by name and gave everyone all the time they needed. I could tell these exchanges were frequent. A very well-run residence that gets to know their residents and assist wherever possible. The rooms were nice and well-kept. They were doing some upgrades to several rooms. Rooms are kept to a high standard. Great scenery! I would recommend any family member to Ridgepointe.

I own a courier company, and one of the highlights of my day is the interaction I have with Andrea, the Amazing lady who seems to have her fingers on the pulse of Ridgepointe. She is professional, yet makes me feel like I matter. Jordan is wonderful as well, not as much contact with him, but always very pleasant and personable. The rest of the staff interactions I have are enjoyable, too. Overall, this seniors residence seems to be very well run, clean, and a pleasant place to call home

My mom has enjoyed her first six months of living in Chartwell Ridgepointe and is settling in nicely, making new friends, and thinking of it as home already. The transition from a family house into an independent living lifestyle is a big step and the staff made it easier than we ever expected and as smooth and accommodating as possible. Everyone (staff and residents) was welcoming and patient with all our questions and considerations and handled everything at the pace we needed. The facilities and apartments are modern, well maintained, and kept impeccably clean. The staff are always cheerful and very helpful and it’s easy to see they are happy to be there to create a positive environment for the residents, family members and co-workers. Well done on creating a great lifestyle and a welcoming community!
