La Maison Simons

Went there the past few weeks to get my grad outfit together. The store has a great selection of different shirts, suits, ties, pocket squares, just everything. One employee, Chris, really helped me get my outfit put together. He was very friendly and had a great sense of style. 10/10 place to go.

I absolutely adore this store. Most of my favorite clothes in my closet are from here-- and some really neat home goods (see adorable shower curtain and bathmat)One thing I'm not too thrilled about is their penchant for putting casual everyday clothes with expensive designer clothes. And they do have a lot of eclectic items, so you really do have to keep an eye out for your particular style as they kind of have a bunch of different styles going on. But the clothes are sturdy!

I have always loved Simon’s. This is by far the worst Simon’s I’ve ever been to. The online team seems very lost ?? I ordered a pair of pants in February. I came to the store twice that week to pick them up (but wasn’t aloud without the email confirmation). I had payed and so I went today to figure out everything that’s going on. They put the pants I bought back in the store. I followed up w them 3 times… this shouldn’t happen. Also - to the girls working today, Simons has great acoustics and I could hear your negative and unprofessional comments.

Great variety in street clothing for casual outings. You'll find a lot of things here and will be surprised with what they have. The decor is very interesting as well. Lighting is pretty good. The staff is accommodating. Come here and be adventurous by trying out something new and different. Prices are decent as well. A fun time for all!

It's a two-storey department store in Rideau Centre that carries out men and women clothes, accessories, shoes, home collection, etc. Most of the collections are European and rather expensive, but they come in great styles.The selection of product is pretty good and the store is well-maintained, clean and well-organized.

Went here on Canada Day and the sales associates were lovely and very helpful, but when I walked into the store, there was obnoxiously loud music playing that really impacted my shopping experience. I could barely hear myself think over the extreme volume of the bass. It was ridiculous. I don’t understand how that can be enjoyable for anyone. It completely ruined the atmosphere for me and I was very disappointed and irritated. It definitely deterred me from shopping here. I intended to browse around but I ended up quickly leaving because I couldn’t stand the obnoxiously loud volume of the music.

I have not been into a Simons store, but I have placed an order online. The website is easy to navigate and the order went through with no issues. The order arrived quickly and I was really impressed with how well everything was packed and wrapped. I purchased over a dozen plant pots and all were secure and safe in the box. The prices were comparable to other shops. I will order again for sure.

Not a lot of things for larger men. XXL. Does not fit.

I was about to put 3/10 although this store has a super nice view of the By Market. There used to be a restaurant there but it closed.Went there yesterday and I will put 4/10 for these reasons :The Gatineau Simons has a better service, the employees know their things a bit better I find, they seem more passionate about their work.Also yesterday I found a mannequin wearing a dress at the Twik section and her dress fell off (where one of her breast was, which was shown). Nobody did anything.One thing I noticed is there are a lot that r youngsters, like young high school boys hanging out at this store, I don’t know if they did this to the mannequin but I honestly don’t know why every time I see a gang there.I find their dresses to be quite short (just my opinion) and quite expensive, it’s better to wait a few months and then buy. Some of the clothes on the second floor look nothing fancy but are listed at a quite high price. Also the pyjama section you really need to search, I find them not that “wow”. But I did get a good looking one, it’s just you need to search for a nice set.Other than that, a nice and big store and I do recommend it over another similar store from another country, let’s say. Honestly the only section I actually appreciate is the home section. The clothing is not fantastic, it used to be better though. Anyways happy shopping. I recommend the app for sales.
