Was told vehicle was going to be detailed and wasn't windshield was suppose to be fixed finally got mad then it was replaced front end shook they did a wheel alignment but just made it worse they said they can fix it in a month it shook so bad went on a trip to Winnipeg took it in for a wheel alignment cost me 400 out of pocket so tires wouldn't screw up good thing I paid for extended warranty I have driven fords most of my life and have never been treated like this from a dealer ship i will never buy another truck from them they get your payment and dont care

On a recent road trip from Montréal to Saskatoon, we were towing a trailer loaded with racing canoes and kayaks. The 2001 Econoline van that we were driving decided that it no longer enjoyed the company of one of it's 10 spark plugs and ejected it from the cylinder head. We pulled into the Ford dealership in Dryden and explained our problem. The service manager and one of the mechanics came out to look at it and confirm the exact issue. They stated that they were extremely busy, were short on mechanics and likely couldn’t look at it until sometime the next week. They did give us a couple of other places to try in town to see if someone else could do it right away. We tried the other places but they either didn’t have the staff, were booked up solid, but mostly didn’t have the right tools for the job. Resigned by the fact that we’d have to rent a vehicle to get the boats back home and then come back when the van was fixed, we went back to Dingwall Ford to find out exactly when they could have it fixed so we could plan our return.The service manager clearly sympathized with our situation and stated that he’d ask the mechanics if one of them could stay late to start on it and come in early to finish up. He found a taker and long story short they had it fixed by noon the next day. We were only set back one day which was infinitely preferable to the week wait and extra trip that we weren’t prepared for.I can’t thank them enough for going the extra mile and getting us back on the road with minimal disruption so the athletes could use their boats for the weekend.
