Bear Bones Fishing Charter

Mike is an AWESOME guide! My son Paxton and I went on a trip with Bear Bones in October as my son’s birthday present. We wanted to find someone that could put us on some great walleye - and Mike put us on some awesome fish!!! Not only was Mike super responsive in the lead up to the trip - we knew everything we should bring, what to expect, where to meet - but on the day of our charter Mike had thought of everything. He’s super prepared, has an awesome boat, great gear, and locked us in on some good fish in no time at all. We made some incredible memories that day; left with a stronger full of walkeye, and my son even hooked into a big Muskie that put on a show! Hands-down we would charter with Mike again. Highly recommend. Value for money, you won’t find a better guide, and he’s an even nicer guy! Wishing you tight lines!

My son and I travelled from Windsor to fish with bear bones. We had such a great time and caught plenty of fish. Mike is very knowledgeable and just a really great person. We will definitely book again. Great father son trip.

Prior to our trip we had fishing experience but had never gone jigging for walleye. Mike taught us the technique and we were catching walleye in no time. The equipment was all in great shape. Mike was polite, informative, and helpful. We enjoyed that Mike was fishing with us giving the experience more of a fishing buddy vibe than that of a traditional fishing charter. Even while fishing at the same time Mike always prioritized getting us on some fish and in the end we went home with big smiles and a freezer full of delicious walleye. We can't wait to do it again!

Amazing time on the boat with mike learning to jig for walleye! Long time fisherman but new to vertical jigging for walleye, and Mike made this experience a blast! Went out on a spring walleye trip on the St Clair River with Bear Bones Fishing. Mike is a very personable guide who knew the river well and kept us on fish for the whole morning. Would highly recommend.

Amazing day on the water with Mike!Three of us spent the morning with Mike just south of Sarnia for Pickeral. What an amazing day! First hour nothing was biting so Mike took us to a different spot with no one else around and then one after another! Mike was super knowledgeable about the area and he answered so many questions about fishing including how to clean and cook them.We ended up with 12 keepers and we couldn't have had a better day. Mike is super laid back and you can really feel his love of the water and fishing. Highly recommended!!! Youl will not be disappointed!!! Already talking about when the next time will be.

We just a had a trip out the St-Claire River with Michael from Bear Bones Fishing. What an awesome guy and guide! Very knowledgeable and super friendly. It was a slower start but Michael worked hard to find the fish and before long we were on top of them catching a few every pass. Such a great day on the water.
