Timber Ridge Golf Course

Such a gorgeous golf course.Attended for a work function and it was so well organized!  Carts were all lined up, ready to go, and everyone was shown to their starting holes for the shotgun start.Ground were very well kept and stunning.  Nice clubhouse and shop as well.

I’ve been golfing at Timber Ridge for more then 10 years.This year there have been many drastic improvements!!!The new White Sand is going to make you want to play those green side bunker shots.Resurfaced cart paths, I wish the roads were paved as nicely as these.The staff have been working hard to complete these improvements and it definitely shows.Course conditions have never disappointed me.The greens will surely make you pay attention and test your abilities to putt. (Any putt over 5’ will surely have lots of break)The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Paul the manager helped with a custom order for me.Will definitely continue to play at the course for many more years.

If you have not played this course, put it on your bucket list!...fairways and greens in excellent condition, bunkers have beautiful white, fluffy sand...most greens have interesting undulations and depending on pin position will challenge most golfers...it was a pleasure to play!

wonderful golf course with extra friendly and helpful staff, the food is also delicious. I use to be an employee there on the beer cart and it was a great place to work, lots of friendly golfers.

My first time playing Timber Ridge.Staff was very courteous and pleasant.Greens were in awful shape, due to winter damage.A lot of repairs and sodwork being done around sand traps.Lots of challenging holes. Fairways looked great.Clubhouse patio is nice, faces 18th green.Not sure I will drive from Durham Region to play again.

Nice golf course but if putting is not your a game you will suffer. Appreciate their commitment to junior golfers.

The course conditions are nice, and it's challenging enough. I would like to point out the great effort they've put into improving the approach around the greens (specifically the bunkers).However, we don't see the value of this course costing $90-$100. Which is the reason we rarely play here. Might as well play Black Bear for the price

The course is in great shape this year (as of May 2023). Extremely well maintained but very busy in the afternoon.The only issue I see is with the 9 minute tee slots. It's just not enough time for 4 somes. I've never been able to finish a round in 4 hours here because it's always quite slow by the afternoon. It's absolutely maddening when the group behind you is driving up to the tee everytime your about to tee off.

Edited in 2022 - new manager has let this course go downhill quick. Every single green is damaged and scalped, the fairways are brown and several of the bunkers don’t even have sand in them. I actually left today feeling ripped off. Not to mention they are pushing people out early causing back ups. Took 5 and a half hours to play 18 today. I can’t imagine this will be sustainable.Best course in the area hands down. The holes are meticulously planned out and groomed to perfection. Lush grass and a variety of challenges make it a delight to play!

Loved it course was in magnificent condition highly recommend if you want to challenge yourself on an excellent course in excellent condition TR is the place ( 2 thumbs up )
