Great place and great food. Michael and his team have turned this into a “must go” experience.The food is excellent and of course smoked meats are Devine.

After a great day in the Haliburton Forest, we had an amazing dinner here. The standout was the delicious smoked brisket poutine! The staff was friendly and super helpful. Very well priced and well worth the trek to Haliburton. Will definitely come again.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Took a while to have our orders taken and drinks supplied, but no big deal. Gluten Free accommodations for a celiac patron in our group was taken very seriously and executed effectively and successfully.Portions were not as big as expected. Everyone who didn't order a pizza finished easily, including the children.The biggest disappointment was the pizza. Though very large, there was zero structure to it, and could only eat with knife and fork which isn't a deal breaker. Sauce was plain, toppings were very scarce, cheese was plentiful and of decent quality. The meat lovers" pizza should be renamed "a couple tiny bits of tasty meat on a very plain" pizza."

Best bbq ever, beef ribs are excellent. Juicy tender with a perfect bark, bought the frozen brisket and its excellent. Pit Master Mike has honed his skills, only thing I needed after was a nap.

Great experience!We went here after a 20km+ hike in the neighbourhood through the snow yesterday. All we wanted was a cozy restaurant with beer on tap. Not only did they deliver that, but so much more!Our server Mackenzie was amazing. Beers were refreshing. There was even live music! And most importantly the poutine I had was DELICIOUS - I’m still dreaming about it today.

Great experience. Nice to have a place so close to home when you don't feel like cooking. Excites to try more options there but the service and dishes we got were top notch. Definitely that home cooked feel. Keep up the good work!

All Food absolutely wonderful, we sampled the carrot cake and the caramel apple dessert and both are a 10 on the yummy scale. Everyone was friendly and helpful. ...Thank you Whitney for making our visit enjoyable.

I have mixed feelings. Been staying at Haliburton Forest and decided to try this place with the family since it is on site. Food was decent and the staff was great. However, in terms of BBQ it really doesn't come close to proper Texas or other southern BBQ standards. Between us we tried the brisket, pulled pork and ribs. None of it blew out socks off and the food is on the pricey side. I'd eat here again if I happened to be at HF, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.
