My low rating is NOT based on the food or price. It is based on the unpleasant experience that I have had there on 3 separate occassions with a particular server. This 3rd time, I will not pass it off as coincidence. I am a black woman who has come in with a white friend on 3 different occasions. Each time my friend was smiled at, greeted with eye contact and spoken to nicely. I, on the other hand received annoyed glances, cold stares and unfriendly tones, with every communication. This could be due to my being anglo (though I did speak french) or it could be racial, in any case, it's 100% unacceptable. I have enjoyed supporting this local dive for over 13 yrs and have brought in countless customers. If you are white, you surely may not have experienced/noticed this BUT I hope that you won't support it if you do see it the future. If you have had a similar experience, please write about it here.Chez Manuel staff: BE NICE TO EVERYONE who is nice and respectful to you.

The food actually was really good, but the service was not. They took about 30 minutes to bring the menu, then another 20 to take our order, I understand that was a busy day, but they should have more people working on weekends. They didn't bring water, and when we asked for it, they only brought one glass, we were 8 people .

Went in on Mother’s Day. The place was crowded as always and still the service was not slacking and our waitress was wonderful. The food was good , and so was the price. I definitely recommend this place with its wide variety of meals at very affordable price. Both quality and quantity was there.

Hidden gem in Longeuil. I would take the 45 minute drive again for the most bangin' and affordable breakfast. Délicieux!!!!

Ok for the price, I liked the potatoes. Waitress was nice when I went in the morning on weekend. Super cheap, no but it's better price than franchise breakfast places. The setup is not very esthetic like many said. Go for the food/price. Food came pretty fast. Toilet was clean surprisingly.
