Best Mother’s Day present! So enjoyed the Tuscan Farmhouse cooking class last Saturday. Cynthia welcomed us into her beautiful home and provided us with excellent instruction in preparing an Italian dinner. I can’t wait to prepare gnocchi and Biscotti for my family and for friends. Looking forward to trying another class. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day learning to make a delicious French meal, meeting new people, and enjoying the meal and wine afterwards. Cynthia opened her beautiful home to us and taught us many tips and tricks. Highly recommend!

Spent a relaxing and comfortable stay at @MaisonMaitland Villas, newly opened for anyone wanting a get away in the 1000 Islands & Brockville area. The level of attention to detail is superb from the breakfast croissants, specialized tea from @Pluckteas developed for Maison Maitland clients, specialized soaps, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen and more. Maison Maitland is beautifully landscaped with scenic views of the St. Lawrence. A weekend stay felt like we were gone for a week! Cynthia Peters is a very generous host who will take care of your every need. Definitely will come back for another stay.

Just driving up the gravel driveway with the destination of a large Georgian stone house was curb appeal enough, but this was just the beginning. Cynthia stood atop the steps, and beckoned us forward, and led us in through the central door. It was a gracious and lovely front foyer. She was friendly with a happy smile. I knew this was going to be a good day. Cynthia was kind and her teaching was calm, and assertive, and informative. We learned how to create an entire French inspired meal. Such a gift to the palette was every dish. The redesigned kitchen was gorgeous and highly functional. It was a lovely atmosphere to be immersed in, and dining with my fellow students for the day at lunch time was a pleasure. I look forward to experiencing more of these culinary classes, and hopefully in future days, to stay in the fresh villas that are under construction at present. As I said goodbye, I looked out towards the St. Lawrence River, and promised myself this was not really goodbye...Thank you Cynthia for providing a wonderful and full excursion into hands on cooking and creating. My senses were fully engaged and gratified.

Excellent cooking class experience with Cynthia and her helpful assistant Helen. This was a fabulous ladies day out. We enjoyed our day cooking in the kitchen and learning new recipes. We will return to try another class soon!

What a lovely experience this class was. Walking into the Maison Maitland was like stepping onto the set of Downton Abbey. Simply beautiful.Cynthia, was warm and welcoming and spoke to all different cooking levels. My group attended the Indian Cooking Cuisine class and it was wonderful. We were able to experience traditional cuisine in and wonderful environment.I would highly recommend booking up! I know our group will be booking again.

I attended the paella cooking class instructed by Chef Marc and it was such a wonderful experience! The manor is beautiful and Cynthia is such a lovely host. Can’t wait to return for another class!

We booked a spot for a class on a Saturday, the booking process was easy and very user friendly! The experience was fantastic from the very moment we arrived until we left. It was warm and welcoming, our Host was super amazing along with her kitchen staff. I would definitely recommend you try this with your partner, your friend , your mom, I believe you will find it very enlightening!!
