Qualicum Sushi
Qualicum beach sushi was absolutely phenomenal!!! My girlfriend and I had such a delicious lunch there last week. Everything from the rolls to the tempura, miso soup, chicken teriyaki etc.. were absolutely unreal! I really hope the community of Qualicum supports this restaurant to the fullest. I hope it’s still here when I’m back.

Qualicum Sushi
Decided to go with the hungry roll and some Maki today. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. And the rolls were tasty. It is take out only. But there was a single table outside for open use we had.

Qualicum Sushi
Ordered a spicy salmon sashimi and got a salad with little cubes of fish on top. The deep fried spicy tuna roll was lazy and the tempura they fried it in tasted stale. Unfortunately I'd rather eat the sushi at 711 a risk I have yet to take.

Food tasted great. Take out only, no washroom. It would be nice to have the option of a washroom after spending $40 on your takeout (we waited 20 minutes for our order, I figured a restaurant would have a bathroom for paying customers!) We were given 2 packages of soya sauce and 2 napkins the size of kleenex tissue. Very annoyed staff when I asked about an extra napkin or a few extra soya sauce. I was given 2 extra cheap economy sized napkins and 2 more soya sauce. The employee was very put out and rather rude when I asked for more.I never ever complain about restaurant experiences, this is my very first time, so not one of those chronic complainers. I however I will not be going back here. I'd expect that after spending what we did on lunch, we'd be given decent amenities. I felt like a beggar when I went back to ask for a little more soya sauce and a few napkins. I was very disappointed.

This restaurant has made me feel great shame. I did something no man my age should ever do. I took a photo of my food.Beautiful presentation, absolutely spectacular taste. Can't wait to try the rest of their specialty items, because the Salmon Mountain was exquisite.

Decent sushi joint in the area. The monkey brain appy was delicious though! Deep fried avocado with crab.

Really impressed with Qualicum sushi. Came here for take out and after much debate, left with the Hungry roll and Unagi nigiri. Both were delicious! And oh so filling. I haven’t even gotten half way through the roll yet. Enjoy!

Excellent!!! A little hard to find, but worth it! Traditional, authentic, and great Quality/Price! They need more Business so go there!
