Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mississauga-Toronto Southwest, an IHG Hotel

Went to stay here for 2 nights and people that worked in front desk wasn't approachable at all, they don't smile and doesn't even greet you. We checked in on June 7 and we waited in the front for a couple of minutes, I decided to walk beyond the desk to see if someone was in the back, and somebody came out saying I'm coming

Everything was wonderful. The room cleaners were friendly and considerate. I noticed that everyone seemed like they were family. There were children playing around there which gave the place a family environment. It was very cozy. The breakfast was good too. The automatic pancake maker was very interesting. The hostess who was making sure the food area was clean was extremely personable. When I say everybody was friendly, I mean EVERYBODY was friendly from the confirmation phone call I had to make until the day I checked out.

I’m giving this place one star but if I could give it 0 I would. WORST hotel experience I have ever had .. will never go back to another holiday inn. Weren’t informed of deposits before arriving , we offered cash, debit visa because we only had so much (amount they told us) on the credit card and we were told no , when the card declined the worker at the front desk laughed in our face. They stuck 6 people into one room told us there was nothing they could do literally had to buy air mattresses to make it work. Mind you we drove 4 hours to stay at this place and they did nothing to help us out. They were very rude and unprofessional. So if anyone is choosing to stay here , I would honestly find somewhere else. We only stayed because they would not refund us our $600 to find another hotel that was more suitable for our group.

WORST hotel experience I have ever had ..What we were told over the phone we had conjoined rooms, upon arrival and getting into our hotel room it was not conjoined at all and was just a room with two beds for 6 people and then was further told they didn't have any conjoined rooms?? We will never go back to another holiday inn. Went to purchase another room but had to do another 100$ deposit (mind you we get the deposit back) in which we offered cash, debit visa because we only had so much (amount they told us for the conjoined room") on the credit card to get another room and we were told no

I have to give it a 5 star for its location, plenty of amenities and located in a quiet area at the same time. They home many refugees so you may see or hear kids running around and playing which doesn't bother me too much. Rooms are pretty neat and a nice size. The thumbs to this place are the front service, it's just bland, heads were always down, no smile and not friendly. I didn't bother asking them anything and did my own search on places to go because their looks were just cold especially that asian woman.
