Port Hardy RV Resort & Log Cabins

My first time staying at Port Hardy RV Resort, and I look forward to bringing my family back with me again. The staff are very friendly & the resort is clean and well stocked. The recycling shack is also very convenient. The washrooms always looked as though someone had just cleaned them, at any time of the day. I was there to fish & it was a very short drive to the marina! Lots of room for my boat trailer at the resort too! Although I stayed in a RV site, I will definitely try the very modern looking cabins next time.

Recently stayed at Port Hardy RV with my family. We used their cabins as a home base to seek out some the gems the North Island has to offer. The location can't be beat - close to town and to the Cape Scott turn off. The cabins were well appointed, very clean with cozy beds and bedding. The campground was very quiet with a park for the kiddos to play and quick access to the most amazing walk along the estuary. Staff was warm and welcoming. I will certainly be bringing my family back! Thanks for a weekend to remember Port Hardy RV.

A great place to stay only 2km from the main town and right by the estuary trail. A very friendly welcome. We recommend.

Pam in the office was friendly and welcoming! Our RV spot and hook up was well laid out. The nature show on the river was spectacular! Eagles, ducks, geese and even a seal. Though close to the highway it was peaceful.

The perfect place to unwind after our long day of driving from Nanaimo and exploring Malcolm island. clean, good coffee, good wifi, and the charm of staying in a cozy log cabin. Excellent price too.My only suggestion would be to turn the heat on in the cabins prior to guests arriving. Unfortunately the heat was off and it was very cold inside when we arrived and took a bit to warm up. 5 stars otherwise though, would definitely come back here.

Best place to stay in Port Hardy, especially if you have children. The cabins are always clean, and they have a great mini kitchen! Excellent for long-term stays, not expensive, laundry, fish wash station, and they are pet friendly! Everyone here is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful! I look forward every year to stay here, so does my son, he loves the playground there! It's nice being able to sit outside on the provided chairs and for the kids to be able to run a few feet to play. BEAUTIFUL views and love the covered pavilion that comes with a BBQ and fire pit. Close to town, the ferry, water taxi, sought after hiking spots, and wildlife all around. Loved hearing the Eagles! Will see you in a couple of months, thank you again for having us!

Clean safe and pleasant RV site well located to ferries and hikes.

First time visiting Port Hardy. Cabins are super cute, very clean, and wonderfully friendly staff. They told us about some places to check out in the area, and the drive up here was just beautiful. It's a nature's paradise up here. Not much in the towns but there is so much other stuff to explore. Grocery store is about a 10 minute drive from the cabins which come equipt with everything you need like towels, blankets, hot plate for cooking, utensils and plates etc. Great place if your looking to kick your feet up an relax or go hiking, fishing and more. I will definitely come back here again.

Fantastic place to have a base camp while you explore the area. I have stayed here 3 times and always had first rate service.
