Beautiful beach. They are working on making it access to get to. There is a lookout point that is accessible and the ramp down to the beach looked to be under construction. The trail we walked was really nice. There were warnings for poison ivy. And we did see A LOT of poison ivy. There was an entrance fee but they provided us of a map of the park. Dogs not allowed on the beach but they are allowed everywhere else on a leash.

Amazing park - there is a small fee to get in, but definitely worth it if you're here for an entire day. There's a large parking with several buildings in the main area, picnic tables. There's several trails to get to the beach, dunes, oceanview lookout, small lake. On a busy day, definitely want to come earlier to get a great spot.

This was an absolutely beautiful visit! The beach is gorgeous and it's nice to see the sand dunes! Although, the water is absolutely freezing so be prepared! The beach is big with lots of space so if you want privacy you can move further down the beach. You can walk down the trail nearby and visit other parts of the beach further away which is nice to see as well.

The beach itself is quite nice, with beautiful spanning off in both directions. The boardwalk does not continue all the way to the east, as some of the dunes have collapsed following a hurricane, but still allow you to walk past the dunes which are fantastic to see. The boardwalk crosses the lake of Shining Waters which I must admit would be a gorgeous place to live. The boardwalk West continues mostly unabated and undamaged. Driving to here and parking will cost $9 Canadian, but is free to walk in.

Good to see, however, we had a rainy day and therefore visibility was not good. This said, the sandy beaches and dunes were very nice. We recommend.

Beautiful beach, trails, road, cliffs. Nice little snack bar. Public rest rooms and parking. Need a pass to enter the park.
