Drain Sharks

I called drain sharks on a Friday evening because our main drain was backing up. Marcus came out straight away and tried to fix the problem but did not have the proper equipment with him at the time. So he repaired it as best he could to do us for the night. The next morning he came back with the right equipment and promptly fixed the problem and not only explained the problem but showed us with a camera. I found Marcus to be very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. And the cost was not hard to pay. I will use Drain Sharks for all my plumbing needs.

To have a sewer back up is major stress but finding a company (Drain Sharks) with the know how from start to finish is stress relief Marcus was at our service within 2 hours and took control of the situation by the end of the day we were back to having a usable house again. Very reasonable costs and outstanding service. Thanks again Marcus.

My main sewer backed up into my laundry room and basement shower and Drain Shark's came out the same day to resolve the issue. Marcus cleaned up after himself and was competitively priced. A job well done.

Amazing plumbing service! Marcus is very professional and I really appreciated his flat rates with no hidden fees. In the past I’ve had handymen repair or attempt to repair my plumbing issues.. they’d usually be a temporary fix or wouldn’t fix the problem at all. I highly recommend using Drain Sharks as Marcus’s knowledge and abilities far better. Two months since he fixed my ensuite faucet which hadn’t been working properly for four years and multiple handymen misdiagnosing the issue.. Very happy customer!

I hired Marcus to be my plumber on an on going basis. The first couple of jobs were okay, but on the third job I needed him to break out some costs because their were extras I needed to charge out to my client. Needless to say, he went nuclear and threatened to place a lien on the home. AT THIS POINT, I intended to pay him at the usual two weeks after receiving his invoice.He completed the rough in for a bathroom and sent me an invoice the same day the work was completed with a note saying it was overdue (yes, same day it was complete).My other issues with him are the following. He told me after two jobs have already been completed that he doesn't warranty his work as he is an 'hourly employee'. Firstly, I never hired him as an employee. I hired his firm to do plumbing work. If I hired a plumber directly to work for me, I wouldn't be paying them $95 an hour. Firms bill that out...that's not take home wages.He also installed the wrong trim color on a tub waste and overflow. Normally this would not be a big deal, but as he said he wouldn't come back to change it out, it now falls on my firm to source one out. Since I am not a plumber and don't visit the plumbing wholesaler every day to pick up parts, this is a special trip. It would take me at least an hour to pick one up and install it myself or a plumber call out fee if I wanted a plumber to put it in. Am I supposed to pay this out of pocket? Marcus thinks so.Did I mention that he showed up at the client's house ranting and raving about one week later. This is one week since being invoiced. This is also after being told he wasn't welcomed back on site.He called my father (who is retired) and my father tried to bring both of us to the table to solve these issues. Unfortunately, Marcus once again went nuclear and has put a lien on the house (which is his right). Instead of working out an amicable solution, this will be settled in the courts.Contractors beware. You'll be paying cost plus, he won't warranty his work and heaven forbid you ask him for a breakdown of costs..

If you want to have a good plumber that understands your needs and won’t charge you for things you don’t need Marcus it’s your guy. I had him come over an do my kitchen sink, because they say happy wife / happy life. Wouldn’t hesitate to have him back again in a heartbeat to do more plumbing for me, he’s very respectful and knows his stuff.He’s also willing to listen if you have any other future projects down the road that may need some plumbing, and will give you some advice on how about to do it.

I had Marcus come and unplug a drain that a previous plumber was unable to clear. While the first plumber charged for two visits and rental of a special machine, Marcus charged a flat rate and in spite of a challenging plumbing piping layout, successfully cleared the line for a cost of less than half of what I had been charged by the previous plumber. I found him to be cheerful and fully dedicated to resolving the problem to my satisfaction.I also recommended him to a friend in need of service for a neglected furnace in a rental property. Marcus did a complete assessment of the unit, cleaned it and made a number of recommendations for future maintenance. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for any of your plumbing or gas-fitting needs. .

Marcus response to our call was extremely quick. We thought we had a clogged toilet, after assessment Marcus found a clogged sewer pipe. The clean out cap was seized and Marcus got it removed and even called the county for us to have them inspect it. I cant say enough about service with a smile. Great company, I highly reccomend

Called a few other plumbers for quotes on a drain clog from small guys to the big companies for quotes and their prices were out of this world and quite frankly the customer service overall was just awful. Decided to call Drain Sharks and wow the level of customer service over the phone was night and day. Super friendly very descriptive in what he was going to do and even came the same day. More then fair pricing. If you want a great plumber don't even think twice and give them a call.
