Best Bike Shop on the North Shore. I do not trust anyone else and they provide the most outstanding customer service. Mac and Leif will go above and beyond for you and it is consistent. I come in with the most outlandish requests and they deliver. I got rudely turned away from Steed cycles for a purchase I had with them and Obsession ended up helping me out with the issue. These guys are fantastic. Choose them over anyone else!!!

Amazing customer service experience!....I got a flat tire on my way home from work and rolled into their store after hours, an hour after they had closed their till. Matt and Lou got me rolling with new rim tape and inner tube replacement. They didn't even charge me! These guys represent true cycling community culture. Thank you!

The best shop. Great selection of bikes for short riders, great bike fit service, great mechanical service. They listen and problem solve.Years ago, a friend suggested I check out Obsession: Bikes as I was shopping for a road bike. I’m short (158cm) and struggled to find carbon road bikes to test ride. They had several! They took the time to ensure I had a decent fit to the bikes before heading out on the test rides. Just wow.Over the years they have handled various mechanical issues with speed and quality.Recently, I had some issues with my front disc brake rubbing, which got worse after a rainy ride. Stopped by to book an appointment and James did a quick adjustment/fix (sticky piston) to allow me to safely (and quietly) continue my evening ride until my service appointment. Stellar.

Was away in whistler and a small part on my Evil bike broke. Couldn’t find anywhere in town but Lou and co went out of their way (including calling me back at 8:30pm) to confirm correct part and had ready for p/u the AM (thank sea to sky couriers). Been going here for years because they care if you want to ride your bike.

I had an amazing experience here last week! I came in for a flat tire, but the employees noticed some safety issues with the bike - mainly that the back brake cable had snapped. When I mentioned that I had been too busy to get this issue fixed, since I use the bike daily for commuting, James was super kind and went out of his way to fix the back brakes right after fixing the tire, even though he had other things to do and it was close to closing. He also explained other issues with the bike and how to get them fixed in the future, breaking it down into terms I could understand. I'm so grateful for the helpful and kind staff here! 10/10 would recommend :)

Best service I’ve ever received from a bike shop. James and his crew were friendly and went over the top to help out an out of towner at closing time on a Friday night. A broken free hub on Mt Fromme tried to derail a quick weekend trip but to the north shore and Sunshine Coast. But James found a wheel that fit my bike and stayed late to swap the cassette, tire, and rotor and get me back to riding. Above and beyond knowledgeable and friendly. Hands down the shop I would use for all of my service needs and new bike purchases if I were a local. The name of the shop says it all. Obsession about bikes in a good way. And a big shout out to Lynn Valley Bikes for referring me here when they didn’t have the wheel I needed. What a great bike community.

Fantastic experience here. Brought my bike in for rear shock issues; tech was extremely knowledgeable, completed diagnostic quickly, took the time to explain what to me what the issues were, and gave me regular updates on the work being done. I was in a time crunch to get the bike back and they prioritized the work for an insanely quick turnaround. The price point was also super reasonable and I appreciated that they noted a couple other issues that were needed to keep on top of regular maintenance. All around great bike shop and a place you can trust. Highly recommend. Thanks, guys.

Amazing experience at Obsession. I ordered my bike from them where they put it together then Matt took the time to make sure my bike fit to my exact measurements. Everyone was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Thanks James for the extra little goodies and the pep talk about the importance of bike maintenance. So happy to have found my go-to spot for all my bike needs on the North Shore!

The best bike shop on the North shore, walked in to look for my first bike. Was greeted by Jacob, immediately asked all the question to find perfect fit for my height and style of riding, he was very knowledgeable and gave the tips and tricks in finding the right size for comfortable ride. If anyone looking for any advice for their bikes I highly recommend to have chat with Jacob when you go in. Looking forward to bringing it in for the complimentary 30hour check up soon. Cheers
