Good selection of women's training shoes and sports bras. Knowledgable and helpful staff although when I used the changeroom, the staff person disappeared. They only have one women's Gortex training shoe at this location but it had amazing reviews and I purchased them. The selection of various clothing was great and there are lots of sales going on. I'll be back!

We headed there with our two kiddos after dinner. We needed to do an exchange, but the items we wanted had to be reordered online. The staff was SO helpful. They were great with our kids. I feel like at some point we interacted with everyone there, and they were so kind, so friendly, and I will definitely make the drive to this store over others just for the amazing customer service! Thank you so much!

The salesperson Daniel was phenomenal. He took time to hear what we were looking for in running shoes, what colours and style. He searched the back and found 2 perfect pairs. Excellent customer service! Go see Daniel for any active wear needs at Sport Chek Waterdown.

The cashier bailey helped me out today with finding my fall jacket, I was really impressed with her customer service skills, how genuinely kind she was. Thank you for taking the time to call another store for me to find the woods jacket. Great selection of men’s and boys wear. Look out for deals because they can add up quickly! The staff doesn’t mind checking in the back to see if they have your size. Good quality products and prices are fair. Check out is speedy as well

Edit - Original post was 1 star due to reason below, but after posting the review, I was contacted by Head Office and they were able to find the gloves for me.Original post:Will not return, and I advise others to be cautious. I went in about 3 weeks ago looking for batting gloves. They did not have my size, but recommended I purchase them online in-store, and they would be delivered to the store, which would save me $8 in shipping to my house. Fine, sounds good. Received an email later that week saying they had arrived. Went to the store the next day, and they had no record of me or my item - please come back on Monday and speak to the manager. Fine, sounds good. I call on Monday, still have no record of me, and they tell me based on my email, it was not delivered to the store, but to their PO box. They'll call me back. Surprisingly, they never called back. I called repeatedly, and nobody returned my calls. I showed up again today, and they tell me they still have no record of it, but it's probably at the post office in Carlisle, good luck. I asked if they could get it for me, and the answer was no, good luck. I will not be returning, and will happily tell my baseball team, and anyone else in my league that Sport Chek should be avoided.

The sales ladies have poor knowledge of the products displayed on sale. Clothing and shoes (both men and women clothes) on sale are limited in number and each time I go to buy the item it is not on sale. I do not recommend this particular store. Sport check in ANCASTER has excellent sales staff who try hard to meet the customers needs.

I went in to the Waterdown location to exchange a coat a purchased online. The sales woman (I wish I had noted her name! - Tuesday February 8/22 @ around 2:30pm) took me right over to where the coats were and along the way asked me questions to help her help me find what I was looking for. She was knowledgeable, not pushy AT ALL and she even held my things for me (I had left them laying in the floor) while I was trying on the coats. She explained the different functions of different styles and the new cold rating that isn't based on temperature but warm, warmer and warmest. I tried one on and it was nice but I didn't love it. She didn't talk me into it, give up or leave me to it" - she looked for other options. When I spotted my new "forever coat" they didn't have my size in store. But she was able to locate it on line and order to have it shipped to my home. She even suggested that I order 2 sizes and return the one that isn't needed once I've tried them both on. These words can't explain how the experience made me feel! Taken care of. Treated like a human. My best interests in mind. Supported. Valued. Anyway

Great Store! Full of employees that know their stuff!

My charge 5 fit bit (bought at waterdown sport check) stopped working. It was close to a year old. They replaced it with a new one right away. Excellent service!
