Protec Roofing Services

We wouldn’t use ProTec Roofing again.Quality was poor and also, they caused many problems in our neighbourhood with playing extremely loud music which could be heard blocks away.When neighbours asked them to turn it down, they were very mean, refused and taunted the neighbours - even turning the music louder and to their surprise, even gave them the finger. They said that it happens all the time with neighbours around the houses that they roof and they can do what they want and that the Police just laugh at people who call the noise in. They used abusive language towards the neighbours about their appearance. They were very unprofessional. We were very embarrassed since we kept hearing about it from our neighbours afterwards. We also realized that we do not want to do future business with a company of this type of character and a company that is so mean to other people.Also, they had a crew of 5 people including a young girl none of whom were wearing harnesses or other safety gear. I am not sure if there is an incident if one of them slips and gets injured, whether the homeowner who hires them is liable. This made us a bit worried.

Alberts one of the biggest douchebags I've ever met/worked for, highly recommend you do not conduct business with him or any one from this company for that matter.

I would not recommend Protec roofing. They missed a 5 sq ft section of the roof because they said 'it was too difficult to do'; they failed to cover my shed after they offered it in the quote as 'free'. I followed up after, the owner promised to do it but after several calls and 1 e-mail they have not followed through. They did such a poor job of cleaning up that I was still finding nails and boards in the spring. I strongly urge potential customers to look elsewhere.

ProTec under the old owner was great, the new owners... the reviews say alot about them including this one. I needed someone to take a look at the roof, left a number of messages, got 1 call back to say that someone else would call. I've heard from no one.

Protec's response to correcting a leaky portion of the work they did in 2012, has been abysmal.For the last 5 years, we have called, and a crew would come out randomly, run up the roof, and then tell us if whatever they did didn't work to call them back. Well we've called them back for 5 years running.During the last visit in March 2017, the gentleman that came out stated that they'd have to redo the section that was leaking and they would be out early spring to fix. My wife and I called to follow up, and the office apparently has no record of us calling in over the last few years, or the commitment of the gent that was at my house to redo the roof.I have pictures and video of the leak throughout the years and am very tempted to pursue further action.We just want our roof fixed and the leak to stop. Protec, at this point seems incapable of doing so.Strongly advise consumers to beware.

Protec Roofing is under new ownership and they are awesome! The new team found my first review and contacted me about the problems. They were very concerned that I hadn't received the service I had paid for and worked hard to gain my confidence. The new crew inspected the problems, and came in and fixed everything I had complained about in my previous post, including a few problems that I never knew were there! All under the warranty, no additional cost to me.These guys have it right! I would highly recommend Protec roofing. My sincere thanks to Albert, Peter and the crew!
