iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics Mississauga

The vestibular physio person Im seeing so far has been helpful although it’s been one session only. I didn’t like that I was told before even beginning treatments at this location however that I needed 6 sessions or more and then it would be evaluated “if they could discharge me” which is not their decision. I do have options for treatment providers… I found the nurse I met for my concussion assessment friendly and helpful although the appointment felt rushed which was hard to handle with a fairly new concussion while I was still feeling quite slowed down mentally to cope with it.The biggest issue : I was appalled that sitting in the waiting room, the receptionists take patient calls on speakerphone. My first visit I struggled with the added noise of this but also the privacy issue is immense - I was sitting there and could hear about this patient calling, her husbands full name, the nature of his injury, who their family doctor was, how he was progressing, etc. I am absolutely not comfortable any longer using phone as a means of communication with them after hearing people have their personal matters on speakerphone infront of a full waiting area.

I have been working closely with Stephanie the last year and Dr. R , they both are a great team, very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding, compassionate.So hard to find professional s that actually care lately!Thanks

I appreciate that iScope reminded me of my appointment as the date nears. I went for nerve testing with DR. TEMPLE. He's the best. iScope Concussion Clinic helped me out tremendously in my recovery from my concussion I suffered early this year. My recovery process was made very smooth due to Alex’s expertise which made a positive impact towards my mental and physical health. Each of my sessions was built on the previous one that accelerated my recovery process and got me back to normal in 2 months. iScope always sent out a reminder for my upcoming appointments which was very helpful as I was forgetful during my injury. I highly recommend iScope if you are suffering from a concussion injury.

Had a consultation and a half hr after the virtual call, providers were calling me to schedule appointments, I had informed them I had somewhere to go for the services. When requesting a documentation of my concussion, they said they would send them to my email and never did get it. I had to call several times, leave voice messages, send emails and months later I needed to have my MD get involve. The good service stopped the second. They knew I would not be a patient with them

After sustaining my fourth concussion at work I was referred to iScope for treatment with a vestibular physiotherapist named Alex Singh. He was always professional, understanding, patient, organized, and very knowledgeable. Alex would take the time to explain each exercise along with its purpose in my treatment which I find to be one of the biggest aspects that separates a good physiotherapist from a great one. Having exercises to work on at home was wonderful and they were always sent to me in a clear and concise way. I am feeling much better now and forever thankful for the support and treatment I received from Alex and the team and iScope. Hopefully I do not sustain another concussion but if I do I will be returning to this clinic.
