Transcona Jaycee Day Care Centre

I worked for this daycare over 10 years ago now, but it has always held a very special spot in my heart. I started my career as an assistant ece and only left because i moved to another province. I attribute so many of my skills that I have acquired because if the staff and direction that i worked with. I am happy to see that Jen is still directing as she was such a positive influence and support in my early years as an educator.I loved the flexibility of being able to choose the program and activities that i led in the before and after program. The space is large enough inside to properly organize the bright open space and having a full size bio reserve, park and walking trail steps away was amazing exploration for the kids.They have fresh snacks and hot lunches too!If i were ever to move back i would not hesitate to put my own child there! If Jen is still directing i can guarantee you that she runs this daycare with professionalism, kindness and respect for all of the children, parents and staff in her care.Thank you Jaycees for EVERYTHING you did to support me and guide me in my early years. I am now a director of a private daycare in Montreal and I still reflect on and use many of the things I learned back then on the daily. The daycare is really great! Amazing people are working here! The director and stuffput all efforts to make the place perfect in all aspects what needed for kids. Definitely recommend it!

I agree with the previous review. This IS the best daycare ever. My daughter loved it from the very first day. She is excited to go there every day and sometimes doesn't want to leave. Everyone there is so caring, loving and treat kids with respect. Besides, they cook fresh food. I am beyond happy and grateful.

I think the comment below is chilish and so untrue. The company is very aware of the person who posted it and its sad to see someone who went out of their way and write a huge paragraph to try and hurt someones feeling. Thankgoodness you are not there cause i would not want my child to think what you just did was right. I how ever think Dana is great! Ive seen her with the kids and they admire her and have built a real friendship with them all. Her face paintings are amazing, and her upbeat, fun personality is awesome. Keep it up Dana you rock! 5 stars for this company because of Dana!

It really tough to get information out of them, one of employee named Stacey who answered my phone about the spot availability directed to there website when i asked her about the website URL she gave me run around. This was my second attempt to get the information. I am not sure why they don't have the right information or they do it intentionally.

Staff are great. They do tons of activities with the kids. A lot of thought is put into every planned day. They have theme weeks and every day activity from wearing certain colors or bringing in a toy to go with the theme. The staff are so kind. The meal plan is wonderful and made fresh. They also do holiday parties and mini Xmas concerts. Very cute. Location is great with access to different parks and Transcona trail for “bike and scooter days”. They also shuttle kids to and from school. Which is such an incredible help. Highly recommend

There are many things people want, but far fewer that are actual needs... There's always something to improve but that shouldn't take from the many great things Jaycees achieves. Working with kids isnt easy, so have a little faith and appreciate the time they spend growing our children while we can't.PAD payments would be nice.More spots, would help our family out.Thanks for everything you've done for us.
