the doctor was nice. the receptionists were just completely rude. very condescending attitudes from the few i spoke to- i was told basically that my issue wasn’t their problem. the lady made me feel very judged and like i was a huge inconvenience. i think the “it’s not our responsibility to tell you” approach can be very dangerous with medication. hope they can do better!

Did not even make it as far as an appointment. My doctor sent a urgent referral over a month ago. Did not hear back. He resent it over a week ago, still did not hear back. Saw him again last night, he gave me the number for the clinic. I called them today, and the receptionist lied to me on the phone and said that they have never recieved any referrals for me. I asked if another was sent, how long to get an appointment. She told me July possibly, but probably August. I asked why the long wait. She says because they have over 700 referrals. I called my doctors office back and let them know that the new clinic did not recieve a referral. They told me that they have a receipt of them getting it. I will not trust a doctors office that has that many patients to begin with, but one that lies to you as well about not receiving paperwork should not be trusted either. I will be looking for a different specialist

I have been a patient for over a decade. Lovely staff, hard working and kind. The chance of getting through on the phone is horrible, though. Doctors help each other out, I couldn't see my doctor, so they put in with a different one, he was nice.

I had a mostly good experience at Eastwood Medical Clinic. The wait after my scheduled apt time wasn't too long, and front staff were pleasant. Dr. Shenouda was fantastic. My only complaint was how uncomfortable I felt being placed in the room directly across from the waiting room with door left open. They have a privacy curtain that kept being left open. It made me very anxious that I would be seen as my doctor went in and out of my room, considering it was a gyno apt. But she did a good job of making sure the curtain was closed and leaving and entering the room as stealthily as possible. Next time if needed I'll request a room a little further away from the waiting room depending on the nature of my visit, I'm sure they would be accommodating. Overall I would recommend this clinic!

I would highly recommend Eastwood Medical Clinic to friends and family. I had absolutely the best experience possible. The staff was excellent especially, Erika. She stands out as a shining example of what patients come to expect. Very attentive, pleasant, always had a smile.

Dr Al-izzi is the most humble human being I’ve ever met. I love the way he treats his patients and taking care of them. He is my family’s doctor for over 8 years. He never change his tone. He is always a doctor who knows what his job is. All my family loves him.

This clinic have the best doctors in Edmonton. Our family doctor is Dr.Al-Izzi, he always took time to listen and answers our questions. He is compassionate, caring and kind to his patients and their families. He is knowledgeable and continually provides excellent care to all his patients. The nurses are kind and gentle especially to my children. My children sees Dr. Zubi in this clinic and he is always on time and quick. Front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, staff are amazing and respectful. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have been a patient here for years, since it opened I believe. In the beginning I would have given it 4 starts but the past few years has been nothing but a headache, I have had it with these people, the way they answer the phone is extremely unprofessional, non of them know what is going on, one receptionist says one thing and the other says something completely different. They will make you wait for hours and sometimes even forget about you in the waiting room and in the room they placed you in to be checked, they don’t even inform the doctor, also they bring a second party into the patient room without your consent. I have had my insurance forms not filled out for two months and counting because of their incompetence. They will waste your time again and again. I wouldn’t recommend this place it’s better to just go somewhere else honestly. Don’t waste your time.

I love the front staff but am having a real problem with the doctor who is supposed to be my GP. Dr. Zekri has been my GP for a few years now and he started off great, he listened to my concerns and went above and beyond to help me. Unfortunately over the last couple years I feel his quality of care has slipped big time. I saw him yesterday for a follow up after being in the hospital. He barely listened to my pain problem before just cutting me off and ordering a pain shot. I wasn't looking for pain meds, I wanted to find out what was wrong. Instead he flat out told me he was to Jet lagged and to busy to listen to me at that time, take the pain shot and make another appointment to see him in a couple days. Meanwhile I can't stand for more then a few seconds at a time and can't walk for more then 5ft before I'm in so much pain I'm collapsing from it.This is not the first time I've had problems with him. I've had appointments where I've sat in the exam for over a hour past my appointment time to find out that he had forgotten about me.The front staff are absolutely amazing and I love them but it is definitely time to find a new doctor. One who will actually listen and actually be here instead of leaving for months at a time several times a year.
