Cedar Haven Resort

We booked a last minute stay at Cedar Havens and were very happy we did. It was very affordable for a cozy but spacious cabin that made you feel like you were in the Canadian mountains. The hosts were very kind and offered us advice on places to eat and the best parts of the nearby Wells Grey Park (definitely worth the drive). Glad we stayed and we would love to come back!

My husband and I stayed in Tent #1 at Cedar Haven Resort for 2 nights ! We absolutely loved it. This is one of our favourite places. The attention to detail in the tents was like no other. We felt so at home for the short time we were there. The owners are so so lovely and extremely accommodating! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience something new !

My wife and I stayed at Cedar Haven in August 2020 after a five day hike on the Berg Lake Trail. It was a beautiful place to rest after our long hike. The cabin was very comfortable, well cleaned for these COVID times and just really cute. The picnic tables gave us a great place to eat our dinner outside, and the fire place allowed us to relax in the evening.Check in was perfect as your package is waiting for you, so there is no contact. The location is perfectly placed to do day trips to the numerous waterfalls of Wells Gray.We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in Clearwater.

We stayed in cabin nr. 1 and had an amazing time! Despite it being very cold and snowy outside, it was nice and warm indoors. The sauna was so fun in combination with all the snow around! (and very clean) :)The grill and the place to build a campfire were nice extras!Within 20 min driving you're in Wells Gray Park, so for us this was a perfect place to stay while exploring the park in Winter.

Great glamping experience . We a couple got the tent for two nights. It was located in the forest , perfect . It was very spacious . Had everything including heating , fans, electric bed sheets, coffee , tea etc, robes .. Toilet was clean. Shower was just 5 mtrs away from the tent . Though the shower ans sauna was common iy was very clean.There us a nice clean commom out door kitchen , dining area. Has a big garden with a fire place .5-10 mts drive to the townHigly recommended

Amazing place to stay! We booked a tent for the night and it was the most peaceful stay. The owner was great and even though we booked last minute everything was perfect. The sauna felt great in the cooler weather and the tent had everything we could ask for.

Cedar Haven Resort has it all figured out, when it comes to providing a relaxing natural getaway in the heart of the forest, yet with all the amenities and more. I had the pleasure of staying three days in one of the 'glamping tents', and everything you could imagine is provided. You can cook in their fully-stocked camp kitchen, with a barbeque, sink, and covered dining area. You get a heated blanket for the cold evenings (it was -2 outside, but you'd hardly know it). And, there is an incredible sauna and shower building adjacent to the tents.The daily rate may seem high at first, but when you see first-hand the effort and personal touch that Meira and her team put in to make you feel at home, and the quality of the tents and the surroundings, and the tranquil atmosphere, it is absolutely worth every penny. Recommended!

What a great and special place. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights and very much enjoyed it. The location is in the forest and is very relaxing as it is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin has everything you need: a kitchenette, a bathroom, a comfy double bed and space for your luggage. There is a nice fireplace and a grill to share in the garden right in front of the cabins. The resort has no food service or a restaurant, but supermarkets and several restaurants are approx. 10min drive away. Do not miss the restaurant hop n hog tap and smokehouse" - it was so delicious. Just follow the description to find the resort as it really in the woods. We really can recommend that great place and would love to be back one day."

A perfect getaway into the woods! Meira was a kind, gracious, and accommodating host! The beds were so cozy! The facilities were super well equipped and clean. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again!
