I go there for a wax only if I have no other choice. Prices are cheap but the waxing itself is very painful. Whatever I get done (facially) basically feels swollen and numb for an hour and a half after and the lady who does it is very blunt in tone and action. After it’s all done, no matter my regiment my acne FLARES up. I wouldn’t recommend for young teens.

I love Merle Norman cosmetics but hadn't bought any new stuff for awhile. I didn't realize there had been a management change. The woman couldn't find my file but I was able to select two lip pencils from memory. I wanted to buy powder foundation but didn't know the colour so asked if she could do a colour test on my face. She said she didn't give out free samples. What?! I wasn't asking for a free sample, I was asking for her to match the foundation to my skin so I could purchase the correct foundation seeing as she couldn't find my file. Was I supposed to guess? It's not like foundation is returnable. Then she said to me, Why are you being so rude to me?" I asked how is it rude

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Got my ears pierced here, and after taking care of them perfectly I woke up one morning and the one stud was inside my ear. Had to go to the doctor to get it cut out. Don’t go here, worst place ever.

I came here on the weekend to look at the makeup and the lady who works here was extremely rude. There was a sign that said 50% off so I asked her to check the prices and she acted very annoyed to tell me. As I was browsing she told me to hurry up and decide because she apparently had a client coming soon. I have no idea how a client arriving soon would affect me looking at makeup. The makeup is nice but the lady does not know how to treat customers and overall has a rude attitude. Overall nice makeup but horrible customer service with a lady who works there that is very rude.

I always loved Merle Norman until this awful lady took over. She is so unpleasant/ unprofessional & chases all of the customers away!!! No wonder the store is empty everytime I walk by!!

I've been going here for years. The service isn't the same. Mistakes happen if a customer is asking for you to fix your work, you should I don't understand why you want a customer leaving unhappy, a loyal customer to this place for over 15 years. Your really taking this place downhill. Thanks for showing your true colors today don't worry I really won't be back I really hope you get shut down.

Not helpful and rudeWorst customer service I have received.Did not have what I was looking for and she said go to another store so I asked her where there was one and she told me to Google it.There is not one in my City.I regularly would go to a Merle Norman store in NL when there for summer and they were great!Date of visit April 12 @ 12:30

I went into the store today and the young lady was extremely rude. I asked her about nose piercings and she told me she didn’t have time. How are you supposed to make money if you don’t have time oh well, I went somewhere else I will not return back to the store.

I have been going here regularly for years. I took a little break to grow out my eye brows and last time I went I asked Suki to shape them a specific way as I have been working hard to grow the length. She told me to “sit down as she knew how to do her job”. I was really surprised by this response. I came back today because I’m going on a last minute trip and really didn’t have much of choice and she denied me service because of our last encounter. She stated that she knew how to do her job. I wouldn’t go to her, if I didn’t believe she didn’t know how to do the job. But does that mean we can not ask for changes in the routine? I’m extremely disappointed with how she has now treated me the last two times in the store and will never be back for any products or appointments as I was refused service. She told me “to go somewhere else”. Please be aware that if you want a job done a specific way, she has a modern mindset and believes the customer shouldn’t have an opinion on what you’re doing with your own body.

Should've read the reviews. Feel pretty stupid now. Took my daughter to get ears peirced. I saw the prices it was like $40 which i was ok with that. The women showed me a couple different pairs and my daughter picked one. Wasn't until after she mentioned it was 14k gold and ended up costing $140. Not impressed at all. My daughter will be telling all her friends to never come here.
