Have used them a couple of times now and have been really informative on both occasions. I had some questions around my Canadian PR and I came away with all the answers and a simple summary email with all the information I required.

We worked with Deanne and Werner at Canada Abroad on a complex PR application that spanned a couple of years. Through Covid and other delays, they were professional helpful and guided us with accurate recommendations on next steps. I would recommend procuring their services.

A really informative and helpful chat with Heather! She answered all of my questions and was able to explain the process really simply. She gave me all my options and what I’d need to do going forward. Would really recommend for anyone who is looking to move to Canada but doesn’t know their options and what they need.

Our immigration process began shortly before the pandemic and so our timing, as a family, couldn't have been worse. Canada Abroad not only paved the way in terms of success, to finally attain our PR, but really supported us along the way. We posed a million questions and fears, that were always answered and laid to rest. I cannot believe we are finally Permanent Residents of Canada! Thank you Canada Abroad.

My situation was unusual: I was about to withdraw from my studies at a Canadian university, I didn't have enough work experience to apply through more common PR streams like Express Entry and I didn't think I was eligible for Family Sponsorship. During our first consultation meeting, Deanne assessed my situation and determined that my best option was through Family Sponsorship because, among other reasons, my financial support doesn't have to come from the family member sponsoring me. I had spent months pouring through the IRCC forms/webpages and all over the internet, yet did not find this crucial bit of information that she knew right away. She helped figure out the steps I would need to take to maintain eligibility during the PR application process and the best ways to present my case to the IRCC. I met with Deanne a second time to help me work through a dozen or so places in the PR application where I was stuck because of my atypical situation, especially with the financial support section. Even though time was running short on our meeting, she helped me work through all of my questions in detail along with providing helpful general tips. After a few hiccups with my e-signature being rejected (nothing to do with Canada Abroad -- IRCC's instructions were just flat-out wrong regarding the e-signature), my application flew through the system without any further problems. From submission date to my PR Card arriving in the mail yesterday, the total time was around 4.5 months. Absolutely stunning that it was so fast and there were no requests from the IRCC for clarifications or more information. (Please keep in mind that the current government policy pushes for more immigrants plus I had several other factors making me a good candidate despite withdrawing from my studies. Your mileage may vary.)Canada's immigration system appears to me to be set up such that people are supposed to be able to apply without needing extra help. However, there are always edge cases where the guidelines are not clear and I was one of those edge cases. Especially for PR applications, interpreting the gray areas incorrectly could lead to months or years of wasted time for returned applications, a denied" decision and/or consequences for future immigration applications. Deanne's guidance was instrumental in helping me successfully navigate my immigration options and filling out difficult parts of the application. I wouldn't be a PR today (or probably ever because I would have moved back into my parent's house permanently) without her help. THANK YOU!"
