Recently hired Susan's Deli to cater a luncheon for 50 people. They delivered to the hall, which was in town limits, and set up the head table.Sandwiches, aka Hogies, were simply divine, high quality meat and cheese choices, complete with veggie tray, cheese, nuts and grapes and of course their signature yummie desserts.Susan's was easy to work with and all arrangements went smoothly. Very professional team, would highly recommend you consider Susan's Deli for your home entertaining or business functions.

This place is a true hidden gem. I have fond memories of visiting Susan’s as a child, but after over 15 years I wasn’t sure what to expect from the new owners. Let me say I was very impressed. The atmosphere was great and very relaxing, the latte’s and treats were delicious, and I unexpectedly found a gorgeous vintage dress. The owners were kind and down to earth. I will definitely be back to support this awesome small business.

We came here as we were passing through Markdale. The girls here were fantastic and very accomodating. We were traveling with vegetarians and the menu's were changed without any pain! Would recommend this lovely shop/sandwich deli to everyone. Food we ordered was awesome. Xx

The best brownies and custard tarts ever. Apple cinnamon rolls and strudels are a close second. Get their baked goods two or three times a week from Dexter walks.

Absolutely love this place !!!Just moved here in December and this was the first place we checked out, I'm so glad we did because they have the best dill pickle potato salad.. always have to get one or maybe two every time I go in.The owners are fantastic, great to talk too and make you feel like your family. I highly recommend this place for delicious goodies and drinks!! ❤️

Stopped on our bike ride. We had a delicious scone and cinnamon roll. Was hoping for a butter tart but they were already sold out. Next time we'll bike faster and get there sooner. Nice conversation with the owners.

Only had wonderful experiences at Susan's! The shop has a bright, fun, local atmosphere. The food - both sandwiches and sweets are all winners.The highlight is their commitment to providing specialty treats like this gluten-free cake. The owners commitment to their customers is one that is harder to come by!

Local Beaver Valley gem! After a morning Bruce Trail hike I came here for lunch and had a sandwich and a lemon square. Warm interior, very friendly and cool local merchandise.Very fresh food made to order. The sandwich was a fresh take on a Boxing Day, with brie, turkey, Mayo, cranberry, pickled onion and greens on baguette. The lemon square was excellent: balancing zing with sweet and lemon zest that you could see and taste! Base was buttery and a nice crunch bottom. Highly recommend this place for lunch! If I had room I’d have tried the soup.

When it comes to supporting a local business, Susan's is by far one of my favourites with its warm, inclusive atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the hoagies and the fresh baked goods... and while you wait for your savoury treats and sweets to be made, you can browse the store's other selection of goods. The owners are some of my favourite people and I'm truly proud to call them neighbours.
