We have been using Special Events & Tents Inc for many years for all our events. It doesn't matter if it is a large outdoor gathering or a small indoor get together, the attention and enthusiasm you receive from Frank and his staff will always makes you feel like a priority.They are masters of logistics. Regardless of how busy they are this company arrives on time for set ups and are in constant communication with you to confirm even the smallest detail. Special Events and Tents have decades of experience and their outdoor setups are done with finesse with little to no impact on your event property.This company also has an extremely wide range of equipment. This combined with their sit down consultation process, and their decades of event planning knowledge, makes them a one stop shop for weddings, festivals, reunions and parties. They are also very accommodating and enthusiastic towards single equipment rentals such as 20 folding chairs or a cotton candy machine.Overall it is great to have a local business that is also an Industry leader in event rentals and planning. Special Events and Tents makes it easy and stress free!! Highly recommend!

We used Franks Tents N Events for our wedding. Rented the tent tables chairs and linens. As well as lights for inside the tents. We were quite happy with our initial meeting as Frank was very friendly and eager to help us. His price significantly beat out a few of the other local companies. I do however have a few complaints. The set up of what we ordered was supposed to be on the Friday as our wedding was on Saturday. I found out early on in the week before the wedding that they were going to set up on Wednesday. When I asked why that is I was told that they are too busy on Friday and that people who had to cancel during Covid were first priority. This did not make us feel like a priority. Furthermore, after everything was set up and the company left we noticed that there was no ahead table and that they only set up five Edison lights inside a huge hexagon tent. When I called and spoke to the owner he blamed me for not having a head table and told me that they are not decorators and that’s all the lights they have. He was rude, argumentative and incredibly unprofessional. He did not try to resolve the issue by offering more lights to actually fill the tent and told me if I wanted a head table he would leave it outside his shop but I had to pick it up. Obviously I did not have time for this right before my wedding. So I had to resolve the issue myself. I had friends bring me a folding tables and had to provide my own linens and went and spent over $300 on Edison lights to fill the tent. To say I was disappointed with his customer service is an understatement. He sure was friendly when he wanted my business and my money but he acted incredibly immature when handling the issue at hand. Overall I was happy with the price of what we got however the service leaves much room for improvement.Oct 9, 2022I have just reviewed this company’s response to my initial review. Let’s just say I’m not surprised that Frank isn’t taking ownership of the errors that took place. You left me with no choice as per the date of setup so of course I made the appropriate accommodations with the home owners of the wedding. Please don’t act like you did me a favour. Also as for the risers, when we spoke the week of the wedding and I asked about the risers u said you’d provide them but when I looked at my initial invoice, they were already included. Again you did not do me a favour you forgot what we initially ordered lol. As for the lights, yes the invoice says 1 strand… however maybe you should specify that 5 Edison lights would be all we get inside a HUGE hexagon tent. I can’t read your mind. Had I known that I would have certainly ordered more. Poor communication on your part. I stand by your price being the best in the city however you are unprofessional and take no accountability for your rude condescending tone. And I can guarantee I asked for a head table when we initially met and booked everything else. To assume otherwise is ridiculous when I ordered all the guest tables and linens. As for the date that you picked everything up after the event, of course all the lights that we purchased were taken down. I was not about to leave them up for you to take them and use them going forward. I spent over $300 on Edison lights from Canadian tire. Do not accuse me of being a liar. You will absolutely NOT get my business again.

The sweetest and most reliable company! Frank goes above and beyond for clients and he does everything to ensure everything is perfect for a persons event. His staff are friendly and easily approachable, and they are fast without jeopardizing quality or safety. I’ve used this company numerous times and they get better and better every time!

After obtaining price quotes from many firms in Southern Ontario, Special Events & Tents came through with exactly what I needed with by far the best cost. I would have been unable to complete my project without their professional input and supply of product. Even though I am about six hours from their base of operations it was worth every penny to have such flawless service with state of the art equipment. Frank's manager, Jeremy, is a courteous, knowledgeable asset to this business and is eager to the challenge of any logical request. If I were to do a similar move again I would not waste my time contacting other operators and I would deal strictly with this company.

Just rented a 30x40 for our campground's year end concert with Leave Those Kids Alone #leavethosekidsalone . Frank and his crew made the rental process very easy and affordable. We'll be back next year for sure!!!

The overall experience was good , we rented out a tent( hexagon shaped/ including panels for the tent), tables, chairs and the flooring. It was setup in a timely manner for our wedding pre events. The flooring was muddy and dirty ( we had to clean it ). As the well the flooring is subpar at best , we were under the impression it would be the black plastic flooring but it is a weird grey colour and it was also covered in mud. I would not recommend spending the money on the flooring. The rest of the rental was good in terms of overall experience and they had good communication throughout which was helpful.

I highly recommend using this company. Frank was very punctual and accommodating. He was always available literally within seconds if I had any questions and was extremely kind. I will absolutely be using this service again in the future.
