Revera Bough Beeches Place

My original review was five stars and compliments. This is an edit from Spring of 2020 to today 03/07/23.Now the truth. When Doug Ford shut businesses down and did what he did, it created a tsunami of problems especially for seniors who relied on support from health care workers.When my father was admitted into this facility. His rent at the time was 3.300.00 a month. After lockdowns and serious short staff issues my Father was over sedated, put on laxatives, stool softeners and for the first time in his life diapers were suddenly needed. His weight decreased rapidly. He slept constantly and withered away from the sadness of solitary confinement. His colour was noticeably changing to a greenish colour. Through my “window visits” which is beyond inhumane, I could see his colour was completely different. I called paramedics. My father passed away at Credit Valley Hospital but at least they allowed my brother and I in to visit our dying father.I would not recommend this place after what we went though. The doctors over medicated the residents to compensate for the lack of staff. His final bill for rent including the medical expenses which we did not know about until I requested his list of medications came to 11,000.00.If he was given proper care that amount would not have been so shocking but we witnessed his isolation during “window visits”. Doug Ford failed our seniors in their hour or need. The staffing shortages were clearly the cause of the decline and deaths of so many of our loved ones.May my Father rest peacefully.He was an amazing Father.

Best place to work. Residents are looked after with love, respect and dignity.

I am always greeted with such warmth when I enter Bough Beeches Place. The staff are amazing here and are always smiling! It is amazing to see they have a secure courtyard where residents in the memory care side can go outside whenever they would like, safely! Great community, caring staff and cozy, warm atmosphere!

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Natalie and Edna for helping us through a very difficult time with my Dad. They are kind, caring and very professional. The home is very clean and they offer excellent programs for their residents. Although the situation with my Dad has changed dramatically they both took the time to follow up and check in to see how we were doing. A place residents can call home, A true definition of what a Retirement home should be. Dedicated, caring, diligent and hard working management and staffs.

The staff here is extra friendly and helpful! Edna was an amazing help making our mother feel comfortable and making sure she had everything she needed. It is a small home so they do provde lots of individual care if it is required. They also have lots of fun activities going on all day long and good menu choices! Thanks to everyone there for taking such great care of our Mom!!!
